Good spot OP. :-)
I bought this last time this offer was on.

A great product. I use it for streaming movies from to the kids ipads. Stick an SD card in, or a USB hard drive, and it works great, I've had 3 ipads streaming movies from it at the same time, but prefer to use VLC player as it's a little less flaky than their own player.
And to think this is only one of the many uses for it!

You're a 'current user' of said product, I'd like to ask you this question then ...

You mentioned this: "Stick an SD card in, or a USB hard drive".

What's the biggest hard drive configuration this thing can accommodate?.

I ask because, as well as having some old skool 500GB portable hard drive's, I also have some old 1TB, 2TB, as well as 4TB portable hard drive's too.

So, can it go alllllll out on the 4TB one's then? (or would you advise upon the 2TB and less 'options' instead perhaps?), or ... thanx.
Can this work like a nas?

Good question, I think I read somewhere before that it can, but not 100% sure though?.

Any other taker's on that question?. :-)

Second this, great bit of kit. I use it to back up my camera SD cards onto a hard drive when I'm travelling so I don't have to lug a PC about. Also use it to get RAW files from my SD to my phone so I can edit in lightroom (the panasonic app doesnt transfer RAWs).

I used a USB 3.0 2TB portable drive without issue. I think I read SD card support tops out at 256gb, but I've got a 200gb in mine which works fine.
Can u set a vpn up on this
This thing is junk in my opinion. It might work in some use cases but for what I want it for it is an epic fail. It can be very unstable holding onto a WiFi connection. Using the app to copy files to phone or tablet is very unstable - keeps failing transfer. When it does work it is very slow - 8Mbps. Copying files from sd card to USB drive is more reliable if using Web portal (not the supplied app). Unfortunately can't use Web portal to copy from sd card to android device. Most third party apps will not see sharred media properly. Tried to get latest firmware from Web but support send email with missing attachment. I have emailed them for help but got no reply. You can put openwrt on this and I might try that, otherwise it will go on eBay. A really good travel router is any from GL.INET. They are fast and rock solid. Unfortunately not had great success reading exfat sd cards with them (unreliable) so will persevere with that. I wish I had not bought this junk. I think RavPower is generally over-rated. I no longer use their battery packs either as there are better spec, cheaper options. My on the road backup solution will be a Huawei P30 512GB when I upgrade phone in a few months as apparently this handles exfat via USB otg reliably. I also think the WD passport drives with built-in SD card readers also work reliably so I might try one of those.

No idea, but I doubt it, lol (but I could be wrong?).

You could however make more useful use of something like this though:

hotukdeals.com/dea…033

A PERFECT hardware and software VPN for the masses, etc, and you too, perhaps? (who knows?). :-D

Check HUKD periodically, because even though the link I linked you to is done/expired, it has come up before ...

So could inevitably price be to be worth that extra effort for you?. :-)

One question, how'd you edit RAW files in Adobe Lightroom on your Phone?, or ...

(What am I missing in this statement of yours?, lol), thanx.
