Excellent price, buy 2! Get some solar too
Dr. Prepare Solar Phone Charger Power Bank 20000mAh, IP66 Water-Resistant Portable Solar Battery Charger with Dual USB Ports and Outdoor LED Flashlight for iPhone, iPad, Huawei, Samsung Galaxy amazon.co.uk/dp/…2EY This not a better buy?
I have 2 of the 26000 batteries and got 2x solar rolll outs also, thst feels like they would need 2 days of solid sun to charge from early testing and also don’t work well if the angle isn’t perfect
The battery capacity I’m sure is great though

I bought this RAVPower power bank three weeks ago and it was already dead after two weeks of owning it.

Opened a return request with Amazon and need to send off with tracked postage.

I think I'll steer clear from this brand and stick with Anker from now on.

Perhaps you should try it again. This is a good brand, I have s Ravpower charger since 5 years ago, used daily and never had an issue...

Ravpower is a good brand, I've never heard of Dr prepare. Good luck with charging your devices with the solar panel, it will take forever. This is 60w too. If you are after a PB with PD, and particularly looking for one to charge a laptop, I did not think you can get a better deal than this one

Kept an eye on this one for the past 2 weeks, hoping it will come down in price so I can post it here. Off course I was too slow .
I think this is a great deal, a branded 60w 20,000 mAh under £30 is amazing. Very tempted to get it but I don't really need it. To fully benefit of it, you will need a 30w charger too.
This was £70 on eBay until yesterday when the price dropped to £55.
Voted hot!

The 60w can be very useful and this is a great price. I bought it a few weeks back at similar price. It’s very handy for charging my Surface Go. The battery I used before was 18w USB-C and while it worked the charging was slow.

I also had one of their PD banks die. I left it charging overnight on an Anker PD charger and at some point it must have either had a component fail or failed to negotiate the end of charging since in the morning it was too hot to touch. It stayed like that for a few hours after unplugging, and when it eventually cooled down I opened it up to find a transistor with the burn marks of death.

I recommend low and slow charging with these packs. I will be buying another with this lesson learned.

Can someone that owns one of these, please tell me what it weighs (in grams).
Thank you.
Now if only this was £16.99, the same price as the other RAVPower 20,000mAh powerbank posted today!
Hey guys. Was wondering if this would be safe for charging a MacBook Pro battery. I've always heard that macbooks, if not charged with official chargers then the life of the battery will deteriorate. Was wondering if anyone can help

That sounds wrong, it's up to the macbook to take care of its battery regardless of the power source (I've charged off a regular USB A port with an A to C cable before). The charger has as much say in your macbook battery's health as a power station employee.

Let me explain. I used a third party magsafe charger from Amazon for six months and i noticed a decline in battery life compared to when I solely charged with the official MacBook charger from apple.

The charger still has nothing to do with battery management. Batteries degrade over time though which may have been what you experienced. If they're kept fully charged in a hot metal chassis they degrade faster, which is why my dell xps 13 needs a battery replacement after 2 years (swelled up). Good luck actually replacing the battery in a macbook though.

Thanks pal. I might just give this a shot

It will be tough. Magsafe means you've got a 2015 macbook right? Maybe a pro? Have a look at this guide for an idea of complexity but it's a 75 step process to remove the battery (so another 75 to put it back together) and involves solvents to melt glue.

Hi mate. I used to have a 2015 mbp but because of the battery life being next to nothing i bought a 16inch mbp
Just yesterday I bought This power bank (HEPT, 25800 mAh, output 5V/)2.1 A).
I have tried to charge Samsung Tab S2 - message on the screen is "slow charging, please use the charger that came with your device"
What is the reason? Any idea?
