Scroll down on this page, you can see the comparison between all their models.

There seems to be no wattage difference between the 7.49 and 9.99 one apart from aesthetics.

If you go to their own website, they both seem to benefit from QC chargers....but state different charging times for a Samsung S8, why....I don't know.

Whats it like charging S8 Plus, I got a fast charging wall charger but not sure if this is just a gimmick
RavPowers wireless chargers are so confusing on Amazon. Hard to tell which one is newer/better etc
Charges the s8 plus really well with no issues, I have it connected to my laptop and works a treat.
Got it today. Fantastic and quick charges my s9+. Really good product

Bit of a newbie here to the s9 gang but can you explain how this wireless charging works? Is it any different to charging with the fast charger that came with my s9? Also how long does it take? Thanks
There is a metal coil in the back of the phone connected to the battery.

The pad has another coil in with electricity passing through it. That power is somewhat transferred to the coil in the phone (with some loss), which then charges the battery. The pad is rated to 10W which is considered fast charging.

It takes a couple of hours max to fully charge, but with fast charge on it should be much less

My research suggests, yes, it is different from fast charging with the supplied fast charger.

The plug provides 15W of power whereas a fast wireless charger provides 10W of power.
(Higher watts = faster charging)

Hope that helps
Maaaan. Good price! Heat

Wireless charging still needs to be plugged into a power source so it's not fully wireless. You just sit your phone on it...the light comes on (if it has one) and the display shows it as charging. It is quicker than a direct cable and also saves wear and tear on the usb port on the phone.
Just grabbed one - cheers!
So does this fast charge your device even when plugged into a USB 2.0 PC port?

It's slower than using the fast charger that you get with the S9.

No, you need to plug it into a fastcharge port (never seen a PC with one though).

I'm confused. Someone above said charging with cable is faster. Which is correct? I have s9 and noticed the supplied charger is fast
I tried a wireless charger from TK Maxx - but it was much slower than just using the apple cable. Not sure if they're all the same?

Sorry. I am talking from an S8 owner perspective.

Still is the whole principal of wireless charging to be faster or just more convenient?
Just ordered one. Thanks Dealmessiah

Hahaha. I meant technically, wireless charging is slower because it doesn't add mAh to your battery as quickly as a plug.

The other bloke didn't mean 'it's faster', he should've said it's more convenient.
As in, it's 'quicker' not to have to plug your device in

Didn't fast charge my s8 plus. Nearly 3 hours to full charge.

Need to have a fastcharge adapter that it plugs in to enable fast charge.

I connected it to Samsung own fast charge adaptor. Still was slow charging.
I'm still yet to find a good fast charger for my s8 plus if anyone does come a across one please let me know. Amazon reviews are not what they once were.
Decent.
