A great deal that I will be purchasing. Black and Torti Ray Bans in the classic style that remains forever in style. Available to purchase for £89 in Tesco opticians in store, or use £45 worth of clubcard vouchers to 'double up'...do the clubcard boost. A pair of Raybans for £45..thank you very much.

This has to be done in store...the clubcard boost cannot be used online.

What a Rip off! I purchased some from the "Lucky Lucky" man on the beach on holiday for just 5 Euros. (Should I post that?)

Their English is that bad, whether you need to "Lookie Lookie" at their quality merchandise, or you are infact "Lucky Lucky" to luckily stumble upon such a purveyor of fine goods at such amazing prices remains debatable! :-)

I dont understand "or use £45 worth of clubcard vouchers to 'double up'...do the clubcard boost. A pair of Raybans for £45..thank you very much." how do you double up?

Thanks, need some new black ones.

"Designer" glasses; Ho, ho.

I'll stick with Looky Looky man, and save myself £85.

Sorry for delay my replies are being moderated.

Spend money at tesco and use your clubcard to get clubcard vouchers. These turn up every quarter electrinically now and have a cash value. The vouchers can be double, tripled or quadrupled on the tesco website via club card boost.

Tesco clubcard vouchers are great, highly recommend signing up to scheme, I have saved tons this year..around £500..(eurotunnel tickets, 5 months of contact lenses, denby cutlery set, denby replacement dinner ware)

And with regards to fake glasses, if you want fake that fine, but a lot of people want the real thing, hence why this deal is heating up. This is the real thing for an absolute bargain..of £45 worth of clubcard vouchers doubled up. Fake glasses do not offer spf protection, will break and look fake.

Fake glasses are also significantly cheaper allowing me to spend my hard earned cash on something else.

On an unrelated note, is there a way of making my Tesco vouchers double their value on electronics i.e. use £60 to get something worth £120 in-store?

fake glasses do not have the UV protection, you may as well save £5 and not wear sunglasses at all!

I had prescription lenses put in my Wayfarers and they were fine. Two things to beat in mind. 1. the optician warned that it would be at my own risk (they have to prise out the original lenses and accidents can happen). 2. remember you will be replacing the excellent Bausch & Lomb lenses with ordinary prescription lenses.

Occasionally Tesco run clubcard boost on various depts in store. This means you can double up your coupons...they def run it in Nov on the run up to christmas, so I save some vouchers for then to buy toys for the children and others children. There may well be electronics as well but you never know what is coming!

They also offer double up regularly on frozen goods, so good for the xmas run up and funiture. Oh and baby stuff including nappies and wipes.

Check out the days out tokens..legoland tickets become very affordable with clubcard vouchers.

Check out select specs, I got a pair of prescription wayfarers with clear ultra thin lenses (my prescription is almost -8 so needed!) for just under £150. Absolutely delighted with them but the turnaround time took about 3 weeks.

They look like they fell out of the 70's in a bad way. No wonder they are 1/2 price.

It doesn't really matter about the UV protection when invariably the wearer has them on top of their head (to better display the label I assume) or wearing them indoors.
