Rayman, named platformer of the year and winner of multiple artistic and musical achievements, is coming to the Nintendo Switch with Rayman® Legends: Definitive Edition. This edition contains the acclaimed game Rayman® Legends - 92 metacritic on Wii U - as well as new exclusive content. Michel Ancel, celebrated creator of Rayman®, Beyond Good & Evil® and the Raving Rabbids® is bringing his innovative creativity to this new and exciting platform. It will make full use of the power of the Switch and its new controllers.
Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies are off wandering through an enchanted forest when they discover a mysterious tent filled with a series of captivating paintings. As they look more closely, they notice each painting seems to tell the story of a mythical world. While focusing on a painting that shows a medieval land, they are suddenly sucked into the painting, entering the world, and the adventure begins. The gang must run, jump and fight their way through each world to save the day and discover the secrets of every legendary painting.

Hopefully 12 September is the actual release date as well. Yes this is much cheaper on other consoles but I don't mind paying this for one of the best 2D platformers in a long while.

Cheers OP
Tempting, although I'm still waiting to get some definitive answers as to what extra content this version includes.
Nearly £30 for a four year old game that is a tenner or less on every other platform? Yep - this is Nintendo alright!

What a joke.
It's £10 on other systems and it's a 4 years old game.
Why should it get any heat at over £26? Just because it's on Nintendo?
And how could it possibly be called "definitive" version when it's the version for the weakest system anyway.

Because definitive does not = most amount of pixels or best textures it means most game content.

Not Nintendo. Ubisoft set the prices and are publishing it. Can't blame Nintendo for this one.

I can blame Nintendo for pricing their own games so highly they set a precedent for others - and for allowing publishers to get away with this sort of villainy.

they have to pay the licence price Nintendo sets...which is why you see alot of Indies more expensive too. Can't even purely rely on the excuse of the medium these days with Nintendo. Love the switch but Nintendo always seems to get a free pass when it comes to pricing.

But so do Sony and Microsoft! I just laugh when I see games for £49.99 when they are £20 for the PC through CD Keys.

At least with the Switch you get portability.
this game has been released in diff forms so many times instead of this we need a new game fed up with rereleases of games
