Had this in my basket for a while, just noticed it went back to £79.99 from £84.99. Not a massive difference, but think this is the cheapest it has been in a while!

Really want these - But are they any good?
Edited by: "speedfire66" 6th Dec 2019
Not a bad price.

Pity they look like CCTV cameras
I got the RGB version in August for 89. It’s a scam to pay this much for the non rgb version! Speakers are ok. But for the non rgb I would not pay more than £60/70. Sound is fine and so is bass but nothing amazing. Got them mainly because of the nice look and compact form factor, and RGB!

I ordered them myself, arriving tomorrow. Will report back after some initial testing
Be aware the RGB version uses a USB sound card as well as an aux option which allows you to set sound profiles through razers software. As far as I am aware these only have aux available so less audio tuning capability. I have the chroma version of these and find they are pretty good for the price, bass isn’t crazy but I tend to still only keep mine on about 20% anyway since I find that to be enough. Just don’t expect really deep rumbles like you would from a dedicated sub. It’s plenty punchy for music listening and gameplay. The speakers themselves get pretty loud also. Only downside of the chromas is the lights carry on cycling through colours even if your computer is off, quite annoying when you want it pitch black whilst trying to sleep.

After some quick testing, it definitely sounds way better than my old 20 pounds desktop speakers I got from Amazon 6 years ago (no surprise there). Sound is fuller is comparison. I wouldn't say the difference is worth 3 times the price difference, I'm just going to say this is a Xmas present for myself to justify the purchase
