This is the Razer Blade 15 Core i7-9750H 16GB 256GB SSD RTX 2070 MaxQ 15.6 Inch Full HD 240Hz Windows 10 Home Gaming Laptop

This is the Mid 2019 advanced version with 240hz refresh.

Please note that this is the 256gb Model.

The 512gb Model (everything else is exactly the same) is £2,285.97

I purchased this with a 1tb M.2 SSD for £2030 total, which is twice the capacity as the 512gb model and circa £250 saved.

For me currently i could not find this cheaper any where else. I have also scoured the internet to ensure that the SSD swap does not void the warranty. Most responses from Razer on reddit/Forums state it doesnt, unless you REALLY screw it up but i have also sent them emails to confirm this is the case. Will update this post once response received.

Guide to swap out RAM/SSD

Sadly it only comes with 1 year warranty but due to the savings i will look elsewhere for warranty purposes.

A comparable MacBook pro 2019 with subpar graphics card will set you back £2500 - And whilst this laptop is not for everyone, it is the cheapest i could find hence the post.

Great price. I went with the Alienware M15 last year, albeit with a 2060 as I was impatient and this model was oos on amazon (same price as now, and I only ever buy expensive items from Amazon, think it was cheaper from razor directly)

Great price for a overheating / throttling piece of this??? You pay this price for the brand that used to be great, but not any more... just do yourself a favour and buy a different brand laptop with 2060 (almost the same performance as 2070maxq) and save few hounder pounds.... COLD

With throttlestop set at -100mvish, and -30 on GPU, and some other tweaks, and only relying on the Intel GPU, around 4-5 hours, using visual studio, SQL server etc and screen bright at a useful brightness. Not tried gaming on battery, only ever plug in so far.

Provide an alternative with a 240hz ips panel then we can talk, also ensure it has the same form factor and dimensions not a house that is cheaper please

Otherwise it just sounds like a response in jealousy rather than providing alternative deals.

G7 = 5.5 pounds and 14.4 x 10.8 x 0.8 inches,
blade = 4.6 pounds and 14 x 9.3 x 0.7 inches

what part of same dimensions did you miss-read???

Obviously the screen panel is not aluminium lol

Oh now i have to be careful of someone on a deals website, what a flex bigboi

I'd expect the battery to last longer on this assuming same settings can be applied

based on reviews i was expecting less hence i was happy to hear your comments based on a little tweaking
Why people need 240hz panel? Legit question.

I think it's a "build it and they will come" type of situation. Reviews are hit and miss, most games the gfx card wont produce enough FPS, but its supposed to be very sexy and smooth to watch and play with. Also on laptops around this price bracket they all tend to come with the higher end items that go with it, for the extra cost figured it would be fun to try! but i am sure everyone has their own reasonings.

I'd recommend a few linustechtip's on youtube, some very good reviews on there, some spectical, some where they record reactions from pro-players using the higher HZ screens, fairly fun!

One thing that puts me off these is that every razor laptop so far as had real longevity issues. They usually get a year, but I know few people still got a running one after three. Good if you have money to blow on brand new hardware every 12-24 months, less so if this is going to be a daily driver for 4 years.

"Build it and they will come" is attributable to Mandela effect or false memory, and further propagated by the Internet. The actual line is "If you build it he will come" from Field of Dreams (1989).
Not good I'm afraid.

Was not a direct quote of anything just my opinion of why people would want a 240hz panel
