M8 TKL is what people prefer these days, if u want a numpad then just buy a different keyboard.

I've never used the numberpad in my life. Just an extra 2-3" of keyboard that serves no purpose for me.

The huntsman with a numpad is cheaper on a lot of sites, TKL are in higher demand.
Only time I used the numpad was to play old tony hawks games
I've been looking for this but Amazon only seemed to have the US layout. Heat added!
Not looking for any time machine comments, but, I bought this from Amazon just over a week ago for £99.99. Didn't realise at the time that it was a discounted price.

I'm happy with it. It's my first mechanical keyboard so it takes a bit of getting used to, but I can't fault it. It syncs well with my other Razer devices, it's a great look.

It says its Linear switches, are they blue? And loud and clicky?

No mate, they're red. I don't find them overly loud or clicky. They have a really low actuation too, only 1.0mm compared to 1.5mm on other switches.

Here's a video of their sound

The low actuation is SOOOO nice!

I'm was looking into this keyboard as a a potential upgrade but I understand that customised RGB effects cannot be saved directly to the keyboard which means you need to have the software running in the background.

Synapse automatically opens up when u start up ur pc, and u can close it without your RGB effects going, I believe they use cloud saves. Perhaps it is still running in the background internally, but I don’t see any evidence (no synapse tabs open whist playing).

These gaming KB's are overpriced, fanboy, braggin right doudars. I have a Motospeed CK104, and its equal to, or if not better than my previous Corsair RGB KB, at a quarter of the price.

I've been looking out for a good budget brown or blue switch keyboard. How much do these usually go for? Can see a few online for around £40-50 atm. Thanks

If ur looking for a budget keyboard, try Corsair or something from reddragon, they usually have something good at that price range. If you can go up to the £90 mark try something like the HyperX alloy origins TKL, it’s a great value

@chaank@ZENKAI I took the plunge and went for this one hotukdeals.com/dea…914 It was a little more than I wanted to spend but its got cherry browns and has a num pad which is something I find invaluable for work use.

I couldn't have a KB without a numpad either, good choice.
