Back in stock at Razer this morning. Webcams are out of stock everywhere and going for silly prices on eBay. This is RRP but still 30-50% cheaper than anything out there.

£10 voucher if you sign up for newsletter - I couldn't get the code to work personally.

This is a well reviewed webcam, good for streaming or conferences (there is a light so it could be distracting to some). I wanted the Logitech C920S but this seems better reviewed and £50 cheaper as I type.

RAZER Kiyo Full HD Streaming Camera

  • 1080p at 30 FPS / 720p at 60 FPS
  • Multi-step ring light
  • Compatible with PC
  • Built-in microphone

No, but you said "Webcams are not out of stock everywhere and this is rrp." and it would be great if you could back that up. Because the webcams you just sent is junk and there rrp is under £10.

The kiyo isn’t even that good after watching multiple reviews on YouTube, I wanted one when it first came out and was put off by its average-ness. Even Argos selling at £50 wasn’t enough to temp me.

Each to their own. Do note many Chinese brands on Amazon and Youtube have fake, paid for reviews. So you have to do a lot of research or take a punt to work out if the products are actually any good = RISK. Hence brands.

I NEED a webcam asap for 5 virtual 3-hour sessions I'm running next week, plus a training course I'm running for the next 6 weeks. So I haven't personally got the time to take a punt.

Your circumstances may vary. Value is in the eye of the beholder. It's a good price for this camera. What more is this site about.

Worked for me with the sign up code also.
Excellent webcam, had to pay £115 for mine a couple of months ago. No regrets though.
Great webcam, grabbed mine for about £40 from CEX before all this kicked off. Works brilliantly for situations where you're backlit (window behind you, that kind of thing)
It looks like there's a 'Tell Us More' newsletter that gives a £20 voucher for purchases over £100. I added an Atheris mouse pouch and got both for £85.98. It doesn't look like the codes can be stacked unfortunately. Thanks for letting us know this was back in stock!

I know you're trying to be helpful. I wasn't being pedantic and super specific but BRANDED and well reviewed webcams that are reliable are out of stock e.g. Logitech, Razer, Microsoft. Anything that is a good upgrade to your laptop webcam is out of stock. Many sub £50 but you'll see they are random brands and/or just plain rubbish.

£89.99 is a good deal for this one in current climate

Wansview are pretty good in my experience...
The webcam market is so ridiculous. They're using sensors that cost literally pennies. A £40 smartphone has a better sensor, along with all the other gubbins in it.
This is what I need to elevate my Teams meetings to the next level!

Whilst I agree webcams are generally overpriced for what they are, this is a hugely hyperbolic statement. Aside from the built-in light the Kiyo offers, the Razer Kiyo (and other top webcams) has decent optics, good sensors and can maintain a nice solid 1080p30 with good colour and contrast. Not something you can claim about many (if any) phones under £200.

Not saying it's worth £100 (most reviews agree it's slightly overpriced) but dismissing it as equal to a camera on a £40 phone.... sheesh.

Beautifully illustrating the point, the 720P cameras arent far behind the price of this and those with good sensors are similar or MORE expensive. Sure, its a supply and demand (read: profiteering!) problem but the fact remains this is a solid camera for a reasonable price in the current climate. Lets all be nicer to each other!

Keep meaning to try this. Have an old LG G4 knocking around somewhere, it had a pretty good camera from what I can recall, so will see if I can set this up! - Definitely worth a try before overpaying for a webcam...

My other thought was a HDMI capture stick that plugs into USB (about £15 on ebay from UK stock) connected to my decent Sony digital camera, but think I'll try the old phone first as I already have everything needed for that. + the HDMI out from the camera is on the bottom, right next to the camera mount socket, making it difficult to mount on a tripod

Not voted on the deal. Its an ok price for a branded one I guess, but when availability picks up again these will be on offer for half that price. Remember that Amazon were selling the Logitech 920 for £25 on black Friday...

I'm suspicious of the ones on amazon that are in stock, but look like cheap chinese knock-offs worth about £10 going for £40+

And anyone saying a 720p fixed focus logitech 270 is worth £89.97 per this comment below is out of their mind. The RRP on the logitech site is £25 (and its out of stock)

Bad luck on my part there - it was in stock on the logitech website when I posted the comment, hence why I specifically mentioned it!

The list of links was meant to be a helpful pointer for people on the hunt for stock, not a promise that they were all good deals...
