Personally just got some others but had this on my list and camel brought it up so thought I would share!

  • Gaming Headset Razer Kraken USB; it is compatible with PC and PS4
  • Everything from gunfire, to footsteps, voices and even the wind in the trees can be heard with positional accuracy relative to your location in the game world
  • The unidirectional microphone of the Razer Kraken USB leaves no room for miscommunication: Clear audio reproduction, with balanced natural sounding tones and little background noise pickup
  • Field tested by sports athletes, the Razer Kraken USB is comfortable on your head and ears for extended gaming sessions
  • Its fully adjustable headband and closed ear cups with plush padding ensure a fit every time

Been looking at the new version of these which have 50mm drivers, whereas these 2015 ones are only 32mm!. Same ones Pewdiepie the youtuber has I believe? I would stick with the black.

What others did you get?
Bought these a few months ago and like them.
Note there's no cabled volume control/mute option, but otherwise good headset.
Bought 2 sets of these over the last couple of years for my son, he loved them, but the mic went on both of them (probably because he spends all his time screaming into it!!). Recently replaced them with some Logitech wireless ones, which from what he tells me are a massive improvement. He also kept getting issues with the Razer software dropping the connection on his pc (he had the Kraken Pro - non usb)

Haven’t voted btw...think the price is good, but not sure abt the quality of the product.

True surround or simulated anyone? True multichannel seems very rare.

Good price - i may of purchased if I hadn't just bought a hyperx cloud 2 headset for £49.95 on ebay (new+sealed)
Currently £55 directly from Razer, was looking at these but cashed out some of the zSilver (Razer Gaming currency) and got a discount on the 7.1 version

I got Steelseries 840 cause I wanted wireless but ability to use with mobile as well. Did alot of research and these seem the best in what it does without looking like a twat on the street wearing astro A50. bit of a different price bracket though but was considering these for a while until i could afford decent wireless
