Fake. You’re welcome.
100% will be a clone. Not a good deal .
They aren't fake.. I've had a genuine one for years.. they are Chinese/South Korean versions produced by Razer for the millions of Internet Cafe gamers over there. I guess there could be fakes of this version, but this looks like a genuine one to me.

Its missing the side buttons (which is a benefit as I hate them) of the Retail ROW 1800dpi version. They also don't have the braided cable or the gold connector of new ones (both of which are crap, and neither of which was on the original 1800dpi retail version anyway) and instead have a proper Razer cord like all their mice used to have. (I'm a long time Razer user who still has 2 original boomslang's as well as both the special editions, and a variety of others (habu, copperhead, diamondback and a couple of others) over the years.)

They are awesome.

Here's a couple of photos of a 5 year old one on my desk right now.. ( I opened it to change the LED to a red one to match my keyboard and PC lighting) - Still working perfectly, works with synapse and can be firmware upgraded.

Gearbest - This will almost certainly be a Chinese fake. A few alarm bells from the pictures....The USB connector on a genuine death adder is gold and the cable is braided.

F that. Not even that cheap. Definitely fake.
Allegedly it's the "Chinese version" of Razer 1800. Make of that what you will.
It will be a chinise fake these should be out of production for years now
People this is not fake it's a different version which is usually sold only in China, it will connect to Razer Synapse and register fine with no problems

Yes, because it's based on a real user experience/facts. Everyone else seems to be making assumptions.

*Cough* Let's add some beat into that.
It's a cheap copy and the current 16000DPI Elite is £60 on Amazon smh.

amazon.co.uk/Raz…863

If you're so inclinded to buy cheap fake junk when there are plenty of decent mice for £20, then copies of the latest 6400DPI and 16000DPI versions can be found on Aliexpress for less than this.
As I stated earlier this is not a fake it's a different variation of the mouse with a different sensor

Here is the instruction manual straight from Razer's own website
dl.razerzone.com/mas…pdf

And here is a review of the slightly older version (RZ01-0015) with blue lights before Razer changed it to green (RZ01-0085)

The review is of the Retail Rest of World version of the Deathadder not an older version.. This one is the Chinese/Korean internet cafe one (0085) which came out pretty soon after and was sold concurrently which always had green lights as well as coming in a recycled style brown (but still razer branded) box with less paperwork and no CD, it didn't replace the blue lighted one.

Its awesome though and a bargain at this price.. i've picked up another 2 as spares.

I posted one earlier.
Ok, let’s put it another way - this is not a fake, but also has nothing to do with the razor deathadder mouse that most of us recognise and currently costs between £40 and £60 in the UK. Totally different product

taking that as read, then this isnt a deal as £20 seems the going rate for this version(if you can find them), and is about the right price for a standard optical mouse
It's almost identical to the original and best deathadder.

The problem I think is that there are many people who have only started buying modern fancy ponce editon razer's here.. who the hell wants a heavier braided cord?! Lunatics that's who.

That cheap shiny plastic
Recently, I used Gearbest to buy the Xiaomi earphones which were being promoted on here. The earphones arrived and seem fine. However, I started to receive directed marketing emails on Facebook from Gearbest in spite of the fact that the email address I'd registered with Gearbest was different to my facebook email?

So how the hell did that happen?

This is called remarketing, when you visit gearbest or any other website they leave a cookie in your browser, which google and other platforms like FB uses.

What gearbest do is remarket their website to those who have already visited their website and you will increasingly see their ads on different websites on internet and FB. Unknowing to you its actually the case with 90% of the e-com website who use remarketing technique with the help of google, bing and other social media networks.
