I've got 2 venom kits. Not had a single issue with either of them. They've been great.
Does it not charge any other colours?
It does, but it won't be seamless

12-13h of charging for around 3 hours of playing. You have to use the dual USB-C cable in the kit, you can't use a normal usb-c charger to charge them. And what's even worse is that with that cable form the kit, you can't charge any other device. Also hey are becoming really hot while charging. I'm a bit scared to leave them charging over night knowing how hot they are. All and all I won't recommend them to anybody for sure.
These are definitely better than the Venom charger stands. I got the Razer FH5 charger stand the other day and it's much better.
A case of you get what you pay for.
The Venom stand does the job and it's much cheaper at £15 vs £35 if you are on a budget.
With the Venom, they don't suggest to leave on the charger stand when the charge is complete, so you can't actually use as a stand, whereas the Razer shuts the charging off when complete, so you can happily leave it there. It's also magnetic on the Razer stand so it's more secure for the controller.
If they’re both USB, and only being charged when your console or TV is on, I reckon it won’t matter as much about leaving it on charge… like a trickle charger

I would just stick to using the charge cable for the Pro controllers.
Get some Amazon rechargables and a wall plug. Saves the hassle of these accessories.
I had venom batteries. Barely held a charge from new.
Same here, been using venom chargers for years without any problems.
Should be more like this.. 2½ hours of charging gives you 18hrs of game play.
The Elite 2 case has its own charger built in. I cannot remember if the v1 had similar.
