You shave with water? You clean your blade with water?

No, he just uses water to shave. He doesn't use a razor or anything, just water.

Did not know about these, but at the cost i pay for de blades (10p each) i wont change or buy as my shave is a superior. This is good if you only use cartridge. Heat added.

I promise you, you will use 1 blade each year. If.
Don't waste your time on this.... simply use the back of an old rubber/silicone mobile phone cover for exactly the same result.

£10.99 is for mugs

Yes, he's an affiliate and it was dry January... It's rubber, nothing more, nothing less.

Like people have said, an old pair of jeans, old phone cover will get the same results.

In a "nutshell", the rubber does NOTHING to the blades, it's simply pulling out pubic hairs that have compacted like a fatberg at the back of the razers, the rubber along with shaving cream simply attempts to pull them out by scraping against the surface.

OP, sorry to diss your post, but this is the "bottom line" because stonecold sharpharp said so

You are one nasty piece of work. The whole purpose of you reply was to shoot me down. You mention pubes. Sorry but that is not appropriate and this will be getting reported to the HUKD team. This is not an episode of Come dine with me, and to be quite honest, I find you impertinent.

I was merely giving an vivid example of the mechanics of the item, you need to be able to take some feedback onboard whether it's positive or negative.

Perhaps you should switch to watching Blue Planet, that might chill you out and don't take things so personally

Right. I am wound up like a coil. I have los cheepos blades that I would sling out after only one week. The thing has made me blades last and last. I don't want to hear anymore rubbish about blades.
Some serious attitude OP. Unless you can explain how one may purchase this for £10.99, it's not even a valid deal. If you can, it's still cold

sorry mate i only just re read what i said. Yes this does work but u know whats cheaper? using your fore arm. I seen someone do this onyou tube. and this american guy was using the same fusion blade for a year. makes ya think dont it?
1. take blade to forearm
2. stroke upwards towards wrist, with head hitting the top of wrist first (obviously) you can also use palm of your hand
How many blades u gone thru this year OP? Also the blades stay sharp by doing this but what happenens to the lubricate strip?

Hi. Don't really have anything left to say, Bye for now.
So you bought one last April and now one blade lasts a year. *checks to see what month it is*
A drop of Antibacterial handwash with a wipe-over from finger (down stroke!!!) before and after every wash works brilliantly.
Current blade going strong after 6 months.

At the end of the day you're lucking to remove scum and dead skin build-uo from the blade edge.
The blade itself always stays sharp because a decent razor has hardened steel blades.

Well I'm asking u a question, Think you might want to work on your manners. Assuring to know I'm not the only one you've been a idiot to on this deal. Man up! and stop acting like a child u t*t
the revival of safety razors and the ability to shave for 10-20 p with DE blades make this and any other attempts to advertise "the perfect shave" null and void
From the radgy posts here by the OP, it would seem that they are more in need of some tampon and roller-boot deals.
Geez I thought I was having a bad day until I read this thread
these are great and made my Wilkinson Sword blade last months rather than weeks. In fact it was just the plastic and lubrastrip that made me change the cartridge not the blade sharpness. I tried jeans, an old phone case and other bits of rubber. Nothing worked as well as this and was as convenient.

I knew the smug DE brigade would chirp in as soon as shaving is mentioned. I used a DE ( had about 6 types) for about 10 years before it was fashionable, perfected my shave technique and this sharpener made me move back to cartridges as they last so long now. I get a much quicker and better shave without multiple passes with my preferred cartridge over any of my DEs . If you go on the DE journey most of the improvement is from learning the technique, using proper soap and brush and finding the right blade and DE combination for your skin. The same with cartridges. Gillette don't work well for me but the Wilkos hydro 5's do better than any single egde or double edge blade ever has.

I've heard of stropping (suppose a really crude way of doing it - I do this myself - is to run your razor against the grain (obviously) on bare skin, or on an old pair of jeans. Is this just a gimmick or does it have any true usefulness?

*Actually, reading the thread backwards, machomansavage has more or less answered my question
