This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

My first post so please bear with me.

I was just checking moneysupermarket for some of their mortgage offers given that interest rates have been lowered and came across this 5 year deal with RBS with £0 booking fee.

The mortgage is for a 5 year fixed rate term at 1.21% and I believe you need atleast 75% LTV.

I've attached images of the search entry that I put in to get the deal - most fixed rates around this interest rate is usually for 2 years or for a lower LTV so hopefully this helps someone out there looking to remortgage in the next 3-6 months.

There is a valuation & valuation admin fee does apply but £250 cashback is also available however the valuation fee fluctuates based on the value of the property.

Nice find.
Thanks. Really good find
That's a good one
Oh wow! Renewed in November at 1.59% and £999 fee which was the best rate at the time. Doubt this one will be around for long. What a bargain!
Scorching
Looks like once details are submitted into moneysupermarket, you are then redirected to fluent mortgages (I believe a broker), whoms reviews are limited and a little sketchy. Anybody any genuine knowledge of Fluent?? uk.trustpilot.com/rev….uk
This is seriously HOT. I renewed last June for 3 yrs, now I wish I should have gone for a shorter term
Great find OP @5YLH3T

I just re-mortgaged otherwise I would be all over this deal like a box of chips after a night out

That’s strange - when I click through it takes me through to L&C?
Not on RBS website though? I’ve sent an enquiry through though. Will need to be speedy as my mortgage is needing renewed end of June. Good spot OP, hopefully it can come through!
Wow
Just tried to find it at 75% LTV and doesn't appear on MSM search.

How very strange, tried again and again I got fluent mortgages. Scratches head.... I wonder if it is because I wish for further lending?

Wow.

What's the ERC after 3yr? The screenshot only shows up to 2023.
Wow this is nuts. Can’t wait to switch mine.
Very good deal indeed
Great deal, wonder whether they can go much lower?

I just put a search in as a FTB £200k value, £50k deposit and the only RBS deal I can see is 1.21% variable for 2 years with a 499 fee? Is this just for those remortgaging?
I think that is a great deal.
This is an amazing find!

Guess I was searching under first time buyer!

Maybe to do with remaining term - at 75% LTV, 15 years is low. Only guessing though

Maybe worthwhile checking the T&Cs of your current mortgage on how much to pay to get out of it and compare against potential saving of switching to this.

BTW, I've not looked into any hidden costs (if there a few any with this mortgage), just gone by the headline rate with no fee.
Crazy Hot deal !

I selected the remortgage option on their site to get this deal - I'm assuming it's probably not available for FTB if it's not showing.

Yeah seems like it's only for remortgaging.
60% LTV should be even better, like 0.99%

I think the rates will go even lower once the economic impact of Covid becomes fully apparent. These providers wouldn't be offering these rates if they didn't think it would make them more money long term.

Edit: second spike of the virus in South Korea today. Further lockdowns in a country that is more disciplined and stringently governed than most of the EU and UK. I'd recommend waiting a few months to remortgage if you can.

It might be the further lending - I selected no additional lending and that seems to take me through to L&C.

Congrats on your first post, @5YLH3T - doing very well! Keep 'em comin'
Damn, think my charges for leaving my fix early will outweigh the benefits - hope something similar is there in 6-9 months!
Great deal, was about to go for the HSBC one but might hold back now hoping they drop their rates. Shame this is through a broker rather than direct as well.
Great spot OP. Very interesting this rate at that LTV and no booking fee. My mortgage is due up in Dec, I'm fortunate at 33% LTV so be interesting what other deals come through.
Christ, wish i hadn't fixed 2 (maybe 1, i forget) years ago at 2.09% for 5 years.
It's a massive error - the 1.21% is a two year fixed rate with a fee of £999 for those with mortgages over £500,000
No-one will get offered this.
I am going to try and block any mortgage deals from coming through on my HUKD feed these rates are making me sick / jealous
Cold not a negative interest rate.

Oh dear. Could you expand on this a little? Did you contact Fluent Mortgages? Thanks
