READ BEFORE YOU VOTE - BT **Business Users Only** Iphone 5S 16GB - Unlimited Mins & Texts/2GB Data 4G - £24.00 Per Month over 24 month contract

I was so annoyed at the charges Orange made for call divert on my frankly naff Samsung SIII mini that I decided to go back to BT Business Mobile to see what they had to offer. I can hardly believe this deal for BUSINESS USERS only.

IPhone 5S 16GB (Grey)
Unlimited Minutes
Unlimited Texts
2GB Data (Doubled up as normally 1GB)
24 Month Contract
£20.00 PM plus VAT so £24.00 in total

I cannot find anything remotely close to this on other business deals. BT actually sell this phone on their personal mobile website @ £379.00. Although I do appreciate that it will be cheaper elsewhere on the HUKD site somewhere.......!

Considering the sim only business deal from BT for the same elements as above is £17.50 plus VAT i.e. £21.00 I make that to be a total of £3.00 per month or £72.00 for the phone over 24 months which I think is pretty keen. Again I appreciate that cheaper sim only business deals might be available but they would have to be pretty low to compare to this deal for business users.

I have no need for a huge amount of downloads so 2GB is fine for me.

Thing's nearly 3 generations old and the data is the only thing worth anything any more, which is only 2GB. I just don't see what it is you think is good about it.

Why not buy an iPhone 6 on eBay for around 300 or less then stick a cheap pay monthly SIM in it. Loads of rolling contracts with unlimited voice on there.

Business or not. Just move off of business if the deals are crappy.

They do like to fob off old stock on business customers. I know this from my mother. They were always selling her old phones until I found out.

Really? 24 month sim only deal with 2gb is £21/m? So Im doing real good with my O2, 12 month sim only at £17 inc VAT.

Not sure what point you are making?

I think they are basically saying that that's a s**t price for a SIM only deal, regardless of whether it's a business account or not. You'd be way better off on a normal SIM only deal from what I can tell, but never used a business account so can't really comment.

In my experience "business only" deals are usually expensive because businesses are less bothered about quibbling over small amounts.

That is indeed an excellent business deal at £17 pm however what phone do you have with it? - If you wanted, and I'm not saying that you do, a business packaged 5S I think O2 are £34.50 inc VAT per month on a like for like basis?
Blimey mate, how about READ BEFORE YOU POST.
First you're not sure what peympeym is saying. Now you're saying it's a good deal.
And given the rest of your replies, no wonder people are voting cold.
Hibbers......this deal is crap!

You need to understand that you can get a sim only deal + the iphone5s for cheaper and better than what you have suggested in your deal!

I personally pay £5.50 a month, I get 700mins, unlimited text, 3gb internet (but only because I am a talktalk customer.

and I bought a brand new s5 in april for £240

so if you look around you can get it cheaper. If you want to put it through your business just claim it back through expenses and it will still be cheaper than your deal!

My 'shouting' is just reflecting the very first words of your post.
And if you need to ask questions about who I mean.... it's you who needs to read again
Not a bad deal really, about the best you are going to find for a business plan. Vodafone do a SIM only deal (same allowances) for around £15pm.

Sorry because I voted cold straight after reading the description, I should have read the whole deal and then I would have voted hot.

Thank you.
TBF it's not a bad deal, the best I can find for us standard non business users with Unlimited, Unlimited and 2GB is £26 p/m from Voda via Moblies.co.uk but I voted cold as soon as I saw the headline too. One thing to learn on HUKD is not to tell people how to vote or who can or cannot vote, you can be sure that everyone will vote cold because you have been so precious.
Terrible customer service
Read it. Understood it. Voted cold. Simples
hibbers1, in plain words, go for £24 per month Samsung S6, 64gb phone instead of 2 yr old iphone 5s. (not to ignite android/iphone war, I use ios devices but deal you posted is cold)

Oops ... Voted before reading..
What I fail to understand is what do you gain by having a business contract?
If it was a multi-line shared contract or the free calls included everything except 09 numbers then maybe a deal.
I just don't see why you'd stay on that type of contract for 1 user.
