Ready To Go Rechargeable Batteries Packs Of 4 AA Or AAA £2.99 FROM SUNDAY 29th October @ Lidl

Found 19th Oct
Ready To Go Rechargeable batteries for £2.99 4 x AA or AAA or 2 C or D cells These are Really Good and well worth the money.

I have been using then for about 3 Years now in everything from torches to cameras and all the remotes/clocks and I am well pleased. I use the Lidl Tronic intelligent charger and always get well charged batteries, some of which (Ones for camera) have now been charged over 100 times.

I think these are well worth Highlighting as they only come up 2-3 times a year and not always these Ready To Go Eco Ones, which are the better of the 2 types Lidl sell.

Confused! Coupla folk say no then the most recent gets good results

The last person on that forum is showing results for the superior 2300 ones.

Lidl used to sell the good 2300mah ones then switched to 2400mah made by another supplier that were bad then they went back to the good 2300mah ones again (although they might possibly label them as 2400 to add to the confusion)

The good ones are made by a manufacturer named "Eures" and the bad ones made by "Kompernass" The manufacturer name is usually on the packaging small print if you look for it.

I've seen some people say they had Eures ones that were labelled as 2400mah though and that they were also good so keep an eye out, just avoid the combination of 2400mah AND Kompernas. If it's made by Eures it should be good whether it has 2300 or 2400 in the pack.

IfYou click through on the get deal button, it's not in the online booklet - however there are sometimes regional differences so just go to the website and search your local store's deals.

What is the Mah?

Please

Its not in the Leaflet or on the website, it is usually only on sale once or twice a year. here is link to website, select your local store and save then have a look every thursday, the chargers are really good. Maplins ( Code: N04KR ) sell the same charger for £30 Lidl are usually about £16.

Yes, these are ready to use, low self discharge - look for Tronic eco branding, not just Tronic.

Finally! It's been ages since I caught some of these!

They are 2300mah so should be the decent ones. They changed supplier and were selling 2400mah ones for a while which turned out to be awful and would only hold about half the stated capacity. Thankfully Lidl soon went back to the original supplier.

I have been using them for Years, a lot cheaper than the Big name Brands and they are fine for most people.
Torches, clocks, radios, remote controls. Most stores have reasonable amount of stock, I suggest you get to a store within the first couple of days.

I bought 4 packs today too, 2400mah made my Eures. Looks like 2400mah is safe now but always double check who they are made by!

I use these for all different purposes but I often solder 8 together to make 9.6v battery packs for RC cars. I'm a bit of an RC nut and like both the hobby ones and the old toy ones from the 80s/90s when the toy ones were actually good. It's great replacing the standard 650mah pack on a Nikko or Tyco with a 2400mah pack!

These cells can put out quite a high current for AA batteries too, not quite up to Eneloop standards but maybe about 7-8 amps sustained which makes them ideal for stuff like RC cars. Even in these harsh usage conditions I have gotten many hundreds of charge cycles out of them.

For that reason they are very versatile and can handle pretty much any challenge you could reasonably expect an AA battery to take on.

Got there a bit late, needed 3 packs of D cells but only 2 left. Oh well, got a drill stand while I was there so not a wasted journey!

went in today and none there. Asked the staff about it and they have no idea, hadn't heard about anything. All they had was the usual aerocell packs at the checkout counter.

Bought 2 packs of 2400 "Eures" today.

I wanted the square ones only one left

You should have said there was lots of AA and AAA left I could have posted them to you
