Pretty disappointed with this RealMe tbh. No 5g, year old processor, no headphone jack. Personally I think the Poco X2 Pro is a better buy or even an S10 also with a year old processor but with IP68 and wireless charging

I didn't vote either way bud. I just don't think it's a good deal from Realme. That's my personal opinion. Not knocking you 😏
You can get their own X2 Pro from last year with same SOC, super Amoled display, headphone jack, similar camera set up and 50Watt charging for around £400 too.

Just don't get the point of this phone.
Realme and Xiaomi both flooding the market with very slightly different phones

one sikk deal
Posted this the other day when it was announced not realising Realme weren't an approved retailer on here yet.
Thought the phone itself looked interesting though, especially the 120Hz screen.

Personally awaiting some in-depth reviews on it as I'm sure there will be some drawbacks somewhere at this price.

No probs mate, he only released it yesterday I think.
Read people dont like the side fingerprint sensor or the thicker black section at the bottom of the screen.

But definitely bang for buck phone with a great spec.

Cheaper than the equivalent oneplus 7t (just) but comes with more storage and ram. Something to ponder methinks.

Na it's fine, I know, i was just replying giving you a different look at it.

Still competitive against the oneplus 7t of course, it's just been released 6 months later
The Oppo reno 10x (5G version is the OPPO reno 5G) is a slighlty better phone and was a better deal that was posted a few days ago.
£399
hotukdeals.com/dea…657

Considering this realme me is a £460 phone and does not have a AMOLED screen it seems a bit off to me .Every phone i have bought over £400 has had a lovely AMOLED/OLED screen.

OPPO - notchless AMOLED REALME- notch LCD
OPPO -48mp camera but with Optical Image Stabilization REALME - 64mp NO OIS on the main camera
OPPO -laser auto focus REALME -none
OPPO - MICRO SD REALME - none
Gorilla glass 6 Goggilla REALME glass 5
OPPO - latest underscreen fingerprint reader REALME - power button

A lot of smartphone companies have lost their minds lately on pricing. You seen Oppo are going to launch the Find X2 Pro in the UK for £1,100..?? Don't know what these guys are smoking but it must be good stuff

Just launched today, on o2 for £960 (refresh) with a free set of headphones worth £270
Xiaomi said that the 865 + 5g modem cost increase over the 855 was quite significant, and one of the reasons why the Poco F2 Pro ended up costing what it did

They want to charge the same as Samsung without having the same consumer trust and brand recognition and after sales support that Samsung does.

Everyone in the UK knows who Samsung are. How many average UK consumers have even heard of Xiaomi, Oppo etc nevermind trust/respect the brand enough to spend a grand on them?

I know most of my mates and family had never heard of Xiaomi until I got one and even then they they weren't exactly rushing to buy one

Dam I missed the Reno the day before my birthday and was under my radar . But is it on pair with the P30 pro at similar price on the O2 refresh?
Well the OPPO reno 10x and 5G version has some advatages over the P30 pro like the Micro sd card vs Huawei's overpriced nano card,Laser AF on both cameras, larger screen, clean notchless screen, higher performance & longer run time but there close when it comes to photos and p30 pro is slightly better shooting video.

Thanks,I saw the video. Reno is very good, P30 Pro however is still superior in my opinion. Will wait for another super P30 Pro deal to buy it and to have an excuse to give my P20 Pro to wife.
Wouldn't the X2 Pro be a better deal than this? Same processor, same RAM/Storage configurations can be had for about 400 quids and it has 90Hz Amoled screen and in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Granted it doesn't have the same camera setup as this, but why would anyone need 60X Zoom?
Now I want this one!

I like the 60x zoom
Edited by: "griffithsrush" 28th May
OPPO just keep making phones.

Xiaomi release one and within 2 weeks OPPO release an answer.
Xiaomi send out a Zoom edition, OPPO develope a Super Zoom.
But this one is bad and surely the X50 pro is a much better buy.
£460 and No
SD865
Amoled screen
3.5 mm jack
Stereo speakers
FOD
HDR10
5G
BT 5.1
And the lens flare in lowlight is horrendous.

Pictures look overexposed, soft and over-processed at the time. Video lacks proper OIS, looks like 4K video produces judder due to EIS kicking in and cropping the image. Even looking at x50 Pro 5G review you can see similar issues with the camera but not this bad. Camera is definitely not strong suite on Realme phones. Not great, not terrible.

Also, it's an IPS screen and no wireless charging.

Apart from that it's a lot of phone for the money.
No Pro Version this time?
Shame no waterproofing Guess I'll keep waiting for a good p30 pro deal
Im also in the what is the point of this phone club.

Go for an x2 pro and save 100 pounds and get a better screen and insceen fingerprint.

Or spend the same and get an x50 pro for the same chasis plus the 865 with a better screen.

I see where you're coming, but I've seen a few people say get the X2 pro because it has an in screen finger print sensor, from what I've seen it's very slow, my personal preference is a side mounted FPS, so I see that as a plus point on this phone personally, the only phones that gets the in screen right from my experience, are the oneplus 7 pro/7t/7t pro
