Cold? what am I missing? I paid to have Cavity wall insulation & loft insulation.

This government grant scheme for insulation is such a dogs dinner , pigs ear or whatever the phrase is. Next door had it done. I spoke to the installers, they gave me their number. Phoned it, lady said ' its based on postcode'. She checked mine and said i don't qualify. Next door both work. I phoned British Gas ' Oh yes, you qualify'. Somebodys coming on June 5th. What a #### ##. The Government couldn't organize a #### ## in a etc etc.

Cheers for the post. cancelled and rebooked for the nectar points.

How do the two firms saying different things have anything to do with government being inept?

thanks op x

Just had them round and was told there wasn't enough headroom in my loft oO

They need a minimum of 110cm headroom, mine was around 80cm. What rubbish....I can easily get to the other side of my loft and I'm 6 foot 2. With a hard hat on and some good knee pads and they could have easily done it.
