Shows how useless trust pilot is. I’ve returned a Microwave that developed a strange noise after about 10 months and a Surface tablet that had issues just under 2 years old and both times their customer service was second to none. Based on my experience I’d be willing to pay a little more and buy high value items from JL over other high street shops.

Yes they're excluded. The eligible items can be found by clicking "Get Deal" and then selecting one of the three links (Home & Garden, Furniture & Lighting, Nursery Furniture) which appear on the offer landing page.

not on my account either

The offer states the offer is available for both new and existing JL members so maybe the offer has just not yet appeared in your accounts yet as the offer only went live today. Maybe it is best to contact JL directly to check with them if you're eligible for the offer
This commission is thing is crap
Been a member for years. Not in mine although there is another free hot drink and cake!
Does home include beauty products as well?

I saw it in store today on a banner inside and in the window so I’m assuming it’s open to everyone

Have you read any of the reviews? Some ridiculous complaints on there
Always thought that the JL guarantee was worth having but I now know that its not.
Home appliance that I called them about that is having an issue & under guarantee, its call the manufacturer response from them.

I will not be buying from them again.

Did you write a 5 star review?
Good deal if there is something you need. This time to buy. Can't fault JL customer service. They always get and put things right.

The majority of people aren't aware that you have to pay £000k to Trustpilot so that they bump your review ratings. JLP haven't paid this hence the poor review score.
DonBeliev06/02/2020 21:28

Hence the problem with reviews...

Exactly. Plus the less honest practices some companies use to get positive reviews
Looks like out of season or outdated stuff that's only on those links. Don't waste your time.

They actually were banned up until earlier today. Posting their own deals apparently.

This one is by an "Expert" though so it's okay.
Worst part about John Lewis is how on earth they get away with the “never knowingly undersold” nonsense.
...Yes they have a price promise but they are very often undersold and if their staff spent a few mins on google then they would also always be “knowingly”! (Perhaps “partners” aren’t allowed online )
does wardrobes count?

Bit of a pain to do and check you can return them before doing, but buy a new one and send it back on the older order?

That comment is about as valuable a contribution to this site as the number of deals you've posted in 12 years.

The answer is zero.
