I have a 4 of these recert drives.
Very good value for money.
never trust WD
I wonder if some of these are excess stock. Last two I bought still had the plastic wrapping around the drives and there was nowhere it said recertified. Other ones I have bought definitely say on the drive casing recertified and came in a plastic bag. Yes they are all still going strong, some are over 2 years old.
i have no ideal why people would like to put data on risk by taking this recert drivers.

I have had 2 500G WD Drives - both failed within two years :o(
It's a pity that drive used us not a standard sata connection, for use in other devices like laptop or games console.
Hi, are any of these any good for an external hard drive for a PS4?

Hmm interesting, all my ultra drives have had the plastic wrapping on and I can't see anything on the boxes (hoarder alert) that say recertified. My last regular passport drive didn't either and the only fault I could see is one of the rubber feet were missing, I did think at the time maybe it failed QC or something and got put in the recert' pile.
WD stands for wa-nk drives.
i have mycloud and 2 portable drives for a while now, no issues at all.

still dont know if I can remove the drive from 'my passport x' so I could put it into the ps4 rather than having it connected via USB. Anyone tried ?

I lost my master's thesis on WD.

Hope this is enough!

Easy for you to say

I only wish more people had no idea...then there would be more stock available at a good price for the rest of us
Just ordered thanks for this.

I didnt get My Book as it automatically encrypts data which can cause issues, cant swap the physical drive out etc. So I went for the WD Elements one which was more expensive at the outlet despite usually cheaper than My Book at RRP.
More spam yay
HUKD getting spammed with recertified drives have not voted either way, just wanted to vent.
