By coincidence I just ordered this 30W one from Amazon for £12.74 amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1 although I'm not sure which is better. (Fakespot points out dodgy reviews for many of the rechargeable worklights on Amazon). The one hear looks like the one Screwfix used to stock.
I bought this and it worked OK for a while, but then the batteries went and although it works when plugged in, it doesn't work cordless. The batteries are not of a decent quality and can't be changed.
I already have a couple of these, but bought 3x more on this deal for £29.99 delivered.

Cracking bargain, I paid £16 each for the last lot on an Amazon deal offer.
I've got one of these and as someone else posted - it worked for a few months, but now only works when plugged in. Seems to idicate full charge after about 20 minutes, but if disconnected from the mains it lasts about 10 minutes. I've bought a different type, which so far seems to work.
I got this deal ages ago: hotukdeals.com/dea…723 The light recently came to the rescue. Especially when I hadn't charged the light for a few months. There was a 12+ hour power cut until the early hours of the morning. Got home at night to a completely dark home. Put it in the hallway with the light facing directly upwards. Gave off a decent amount of light to partially illuminate the surrounding rooms. and up the stairs. Fine to carry around to light up rooms. In order to find other torches.
It's this worth it? Don't want it to pack in after few months

I think like most things, if you look after them they should be ok.

My guess is that charging for the right amount of time could be a factor.

I've got mine on a timer so that they charge for the allotted time once or twice per week. When we need to use them they work perfectly with no issues.

Often although manufacturers state that their kit has protection for overcharging I find it better to not let it get that far.

Unsure if they are only mains power. Sometimes Lidl and Aldi stock these type of lights. They may do mains and rechargeable versions. Only issue is they are not permanently stocked.
