Do you recycle ink cartridges?
This isn't a service we currently offer in our stores, however, any cartridge can be sent freepost to our 3rd party cartridge supplier for recycling using the following details:

Why give 'em away for free? Send 'em to Tesco (via their pre-paid label) and get up to 125 points per cartridge. I then convert mine to RedSpottedHanky or Uber credit.

There are also charity bins.
Do they take any make and model of cartridges?

I've never found any of the paying services that want mine (Canon 570 and 571) so happy giving them away free if they'll recycle.
Or throw into the sea so a hermit crab can have a new home!
They've done it for a while,

The envelope says selected inkjet carts from HP, Epson,Dell, Kodak and Canon.

No idea what it means by selected.

anyone know how to get laser jet carts recycled?
Why is everyone so keen to give them away for free? Refill them yourself for a fraction of the cost and use a chip resetter ...? They’re going to sell them on/use them themselves for this purpose.
I think some schools will take the laser jet ones as they get money for them. Not sure what they do with them but a colleague takes them to a local school so it helps them.

ooooppss.. link had already been posted.
You can make a bit selling them on eBay too
Our local scouts group used to collect them, they used to do quite well, every couple of months they'd sent off a large box and get a nice cheque.
Well, all except the time some plonker announced he'd done them a favour by taking the box to the local recycling centre and dumping them. sigh.

Well done, I know what selected means, it doesn't say what the selected ones are.
They should pay you every time to hand one in. all they do is refurb them and sell them as compatibles.
