Special Edition of RDR2 using VPN. Searched using few different countries and Philippines 🇵🇭 price seems the lowest.

1) Connect to VPN and pick Philippines 🇵🇭
2) Launch Rockstar Launcher App
3) RDR2 special Edition - will show as 2300 PHP which converts to approx £36.5 but PayPal converted it to £38 exactly.
4) Pick 2x free Rockstar games.
4) PayPal works, please wait patiently after completing transaction. It took few minutes before payment cleared and game shown in the library as purchased.
5) Enjoy.

Original UK price of the game is around £54.99 so little savings.

Misleading title. Won't the game be locked to that region or something?

Well if GTAV works this should works also.
Title is misleading...
Why is title misleading? Pretty good deal tbh. Using VPN to get games cheaper has been used a lot!
Am tha jokah BABI!
I feel like this can go wrong if it becomes region locked, but great price otherwise.
Great price? It's an old (EDIT: not old old, but old as in, yea...you know what I mean) game on a new platform; can get it much cheaper on console. Not that I console any more tbh, but still. Admittedly they do this the other way round as well. It's just annoying. I guarantee the same with BL3 when it comes out on Steam as well.

Generally pc is far cheaper in terms of games than consoles are, and I think it's a great price because they are porting it with amazing optimization and lots of pc exclusive updates, visually and story wise + in game bonuses.

Yea, I guess...but even with extra content, which I assume they're doing to try and justify the high (imo) price (especially £54.99 quoted above) for an old (see comment above) game. But yea, price is one of the factors I am not doing consoles after this gen, having owned (and still owning actually) every iteration of Sony and Microsoft's console (the base consoles that is) and several others (Dreamcast, Gamecube etc..) I just don't find anything to justify the price of console and the games any more. Most are on PC and those that aren't I can live without. But then again, it might be because I'm getting old(er) and grumpy(er) though

Actually you are not wrong at all about the older game being expensive. I am just so happy that red dead is finally coming to pc that I somehow justify it and I don't blame you for not justifying console game prices, they are crazy expensive. I am 23 and all my life I have gamed on pc, the only time I decided to buy a console was a Nintendo switch but then I saw the price of games and I ended up not getting it! I am glad you have joined the pc gaming community though!

I've always been a PC gamer. In fact, I've been PC gaming longer than you've been alive(hope that doesn't come across as condescending)...ouch, that stings I think the original Civilisation was one of the first good games I had. I tend to go for those games I'll get my money's worth..and then some. Factorio and Rimworld will keep me going for a very very long time still. Way past the next PS/XB consoles have been and gone
Anyway, RDR2; I hope it's all you wish for. I might get it eventually, purely for the single player part. Same as I did with GTA 5 eventually. Although not actually played much of that. My Steam backlog is insane.

Actually I have been reading the rockstar forums. I did see how chinese players got banned for using VPN. Looks like it affected other people as well. Just something to be aware off.

Can you send a link please? I would like to read these comments too.
I'm certainly no expert in this area, but if they got banned, I'd assume they kept their VPN's on whilst playing?. From my simplistic view, use VPN to make the purchase, then disable VPN when playing online. I don't use my VPN when gaming

They got banned because they used a VPN to buy the game or used a VPN to play the game?
How much is the price if you VPN to Ulkraine? Heard that's cheap too.

Was considering holding out for Steam, but that'll just open the R* Launcher anyway
Store doesn't show for me if I connect to phillipines
Nevermind, all sorted. Voted hot mate.
Not sure why this is so cold... picked up the special edition for £27.83 going via Ukraine and paying by Tandem. Heat from me!
