America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed.

After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.

Not sure where you heard that, I've but in about 15 hours now and not had any issues. Only problem I've had is faffing with the context sensitive actions.
This is going to get hot.
Spot on, was going to buy anyway and this is best price I've seen, cheers Darren.
If anyone's going shopping Sainsburys had it for £26.99 the other day. (xbox)

Wouldn't say so, my only issue is that I love playing this and Witcher 3 and when I change between the two it can take me a while to get my head around the different controls. Otherwise, I've had no issues

Controls are a bit clunky but you get used to it. Story is amazing but the game is very long with no character development/RPG elements at all really
Great game, great price.
Anyone know where to get this for pc for a sensible price please?
I used to be a cow boy and can honestly say that this game is realistic.
Getting heat at £25? I might try to sell my Special Edition (Special Edition box and maps are basically mint, never touched them since launch) for £20+, was initially going to leave it since I saw the price tank to ~£15 late last year. Only issue is to figure out how to deliver the game with this Kung Flu stuff closing and delaying things everywhere

Edit - checked on eBay and selling for close to £30, there are also listings for the maps by themselves going for £5+

Currently £29.99 for the “ultimate” version on PSN Store for those that don’t mind the digital.

Nothing you can't get used to and definitely worth the effort, once fluidity is achieved with the controls, you'll enjoy the game for what it offers, slow paced yet years fly by, scenery changes, realistic and immersive.

Does it still take an age to pick up every item? That's what put me off when I first picked this up at launch? If that has been fixed i will jump straight back into it

I played this game to 100% completion on release and I don't recall the controls being horrible at all.

Just cracked this open and they are a bit fiddly. There loads of different systems to play with but at times say fiat fighting they can bit unresponsive.
Its very atmospheric but its unforgiving i took a new horse up a slight incline and it decided to kill it leaving me miles from anywhere.
Its slow as well not one to play for a short time and then leave the inability to save when you want on Xbox is really annoying.

Did they fix the thing where if you had everything equipped then jumped on your horse, once you jump off everything becomes unequipped and you have to re-equip everything again? And does fast travel work both ways?

Was three quid cheaper on the same site a couple of days ago.
Weird how they focused there efforts on RDR2 and not just make GTA6 ! :/
Great game
This is holding its price well considering it's been out since 2018.
Just started this now I'm shut in at home thought it would be a good time to play it. I'm enjoying the depth of the story, the acting and dialogue, it's thankfully nothing like the constant clowning of the grand theft auto plots. But sadly, what it does share in common with gta is the clunky combat/character movement. Snapping in and out of cover is appallingly bad, there's been no improvement on the cover based mechanic of gta 4 on the ps3. When compared to the current gears of war it just feels like such an old engine. Rockstar either need to improve their engine or just start from scratch.
Has anyone found GAVIN in RDR2?
Thanks
Can't find the xbox version on there, has it sold out?
