Nothing like totally overlooking Michael Mann's Manhunter. Brian Cox's screen time was even less than Hopkin's but was fantastic! (IMO).
(All watchable flicks @ the prices being chucked around on this thread, so heated up)

Can someone change the title please since this doesnt include delivery

Red Dragon is pants anyway.

Haven't seen Manhunter, Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal were great

Michael Mann was the director of Manhunter & was the driving force behind 80's cop shows Miami Vice & Crime Story. Manhunter was a pretty stylised flick, pop video cutting, switching between pastel shades & neon darkness. The lead character Will Graham was played by CSI fave William L Peterson & Dr Lektor by Brian Cox.
Rather than the ridiculous 'medieval dungeon' that Hopkins was kept in, Cox was kept in a stark, minimal white cell (In reality, the building that doubled for Chesapeake State Hospital for the Criminally Insane is in fact the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia) making it seem far more realistic. As with Hopkins, his actual screen time is minimal & yet is one of the most memorable parts of the film.
