Poundland also sells Redex for £2. Boyf bought Redex from an Amazon Seller for the same price which came in 100% Extra Free promo bottles (he sent it to my address, though not on my Amazon account!).
I'm no sucker and I believe that this "snake oil" actually works. I don't use it regularly but when a deal comes along I buy it. usually gives me about 5 % better MPG. keep an eye on Wilkos they usualy discount it quite often

Wow, 5%. That could easily be achieved by a steady foot etc.. Reality is it may help restore/maintain power/economy hence you may see in miniscule different on an older car. They ran tests on Fifth gear and they did see some slight improvement with some power restored etc. Whether it's worth it, that's upto the consumer. Nothing wrong with sticking a bit of it in your tank every couple of years. Not much point using it all the time. It doesn't improve your power or performance. If your car is 100bhp it won't increase it. However if you have lost a few bhp then it may help restore it.

£4.50 for 4 bottles ATM at …£4.50 for 4 bottles ATM at Wilkohttps://www.wilko.com/en-uk/redex-diesel-system-cleaner-4-pack/p/0427248

They are 1 shot bottles. The clear ones in the OP are 2 shot bottles.

They are more convenient so the 12.5p per bottle premium might be worth it for some.

Is that 5% better MPG for one full tank when you use Redex or over several fill ups?

If it just for one tank then you may as well use the money spent on Redex to just buy another couple of litres of fuel.

After seeing a deal on here years ago. I gave it a try in a 2003 1.5tdCi clio. My wife used to average 80 mpg in it but I averaged around 60 mpg. I found that sticking a botlle in would take it up to 65 then tailed down to 60 again after a few tanks without. The majority was M5 quiet area and I sat in the fast lane at 85 most of the time 80 minutes a day. The saving was negligable as 5mpg was about £1.80. I used it in a 2007 Freelander 2 which gave better results taking 11mpg off but in a 2016 Hyundai Tucson there was only 3mpg improvement. So my conclusion is that it will save you money on an older car.
I've commented on these deals before and on supermarket fuels vs independents, from my testing independents have the additives already and give you a few more mpg so adding this wouldn't help but if you only buy supermarket juice then give this a shot every now and then
