Cheap as chips, heat added.

Hope it's nationwide

In before the " I wouldn't use this in my car " brigade
If you don't like it don't use it

Used this on my very first car....a ten year old Mk3 Escort. The resultant cloud out of the exhaust caused a nuclear winter in the north of England.

This is ok if you're in a fix, and your car hasn't had regular oil changes. Best stuff to use though is a proper flushing oil. Follow the instructions, don't be driving with this stuff, at least not for long.

It shouldn't make anything come out of your exhaust unless it sends your oil level above the max, or there's something seriously wrong with your engine.

Manufactures insist you don't use oil additives or anything like this.
Some also say that because the engine is old (you won't use this in a new car), it is best to leave the deposits alone as an aggressive agent would also take away parts of the seals.
Never heard anyone saying "I used this and I got some performance enhancement".

This stuff is pointless at any price

Yes agree...
A total money spinner....

Going to post it hot tho... Let the fools boost our economy...

Snake oil, if you really want an engine flush just use some diesel.

Snake oil for cars

Lold

Used a similar one in a mk3 escort too. Then the next day on a motorway one of the pistons broke in the engine! Related? Hmm...

There is no substitute for regular scheduled oil changes.

So if you have a petrol engine, you should just put some diesel in it and that will fix it up proper nice? Hmm, anyone got some refurb engine deals, ready just in case? :P

My car's already a diesel, what do I use instead? LPG?

Every car I've used this stuff in develops a fault soon after. I really must stop using it...

The fuel additive version of this stuff ruined my fuel pump!

Edited by: "5hooey" 19th Oct 2012

It would ruin ur fuel pump as this is an engine cleaner 2 separate systems. Have used the fuel one every 3 thousand miles for the last 5 years and never had a problem

Diesel in place of the engine oil makes an excellent flush. ATF is probably the best flushing fluid but a tad pricer.

Empty the old oil, fill engine (not tank) with the require amount of diesel. Run at idle for a few minutes then drain and it'll pull all the crap out. Only really needed if there's a problem like stuck lifter, contaminated oil etc. Would do it on a normal oil change.

No mate that's just a mk3 escort for ya

This is not needed in any car "flush the system" hahahahaha

Best thing to do this job is drain your oil replace it and the filter with some cheap correct grade oil run through for 20 mins then drain and then replace oil and filter with the good stuff, costs about a tenner extra but well worth it.
