Do these really works?

You get varying replies to this question...

I'm not entirely sure but I'll go through a treatment every 6 months or so. Not sure I see a massive difference afterwards but I'm no mechanic/ expert

Yes they do. My Dad’s car had been unused for months while he was unwell and when he started to use it again the car ran very rough. The garage suggested a full engine rebuild at great cost (which he couldn’t afford). I ran a couple of bottles of this through and the engine running improved dramatically. I’ve also used the diesel version on an old Citroen diesel which had been stored in a garage for a couple of years.

Looks at this price worth trying a few bottles
Filling up on V Power or even Tesco Momentum every so often would have the same effect. But at 2 quid why not? Heat added

Snake Oil

Yes and no, I use it for cleaning carb jets, soak overnight in a small pot of redex then pop in the ultrasonic cleaner for 20 minutes the next day, never failed to get a jet clean for me even ones completely blocked with varnish. So it definitely does something and has some benefit somehow. Never noticed any real difference actually running it through an engine.

It can cause issues with certain engines by pushing unwanted stuff through the engine

Online Wilko shows £4.00. It must be local.
It may help restore a little power, not increase it. Pointless using on a newish engine.
Four year old diesel engine (48000 miles) had a flat spot on acceleration. Put in half a bottle of Redex, flat spot gone. Sceptical before, converted after.
Asda Cardiff (By blues football ground) had both the petrol and diesel ones for £2 the other day. Yes they do work. Better still is BG244 for diesel cars and BG44K for petrol.
