This is more than likely to be store specific but I spotted these Redex Triple Packs for both Diesel and Petrol engines for £4.50 at the Hyson Green store in Nottingham. Works out £1.50 each. They had plenty Petrol engine packs but less Diesel ones. Might be useful for some folk.

The bad thing is that you have to go to Hyson Green Asda lol
Yesterday, I paid £5.99 for this in B&M and thought it was a great price!

Good find, have some heat...

Lucky you lol. HG is my local, unfortunately. The Asda's not too bad, just the area that surrounds it

Great deal anyway

Don't buy if they are the one-shot packs as it works out cheaper to buy the £2 ( 2- shot ) packs from Tesco or Wilkinsons.
Some of the triple packs are one-shot , some are 2-shot .
Its currently half price at Tesco
So, can anyone confirm whether national?

Heat OP for the find!
It's still snake oil, whatever the price.

Even cheaper not to buy it at all - your car won't notice the difference!

No.

The manufacturers are remarkably vague about what's actually in it and don't offer any supporting evidence for the claimed product benefits.
Buy some Miller's Ecomax and stop wasting your money 💷
Plenty in Asda, in Spondon, Derby same price. Car oils are also reduced, along with Rain X repellent/2-in1 glass cleaner/ upholstery guard.
For those that say its snake oil - fifth gear found otherwise. Whilst it won't benefit all cars - it can improve older models. My 2006 Mondeo diesel runs noticeably better with redex in the tank.
Proponents of Redex often point to this video to justify the claims. Although there is a reported improvement, the presenter is very clear that this is a one-off benefit and there is no point in continually adding the product - those who keep adding it are wasting their money.

As for the reported improvement, the presenter says they did each test eight times and took the highest figure. This is dodgy methodology. Any rigorous study will look at an average or disregard the highest and lowest values. We don't see the actual data, so it's impossible to tell whether the value taken is representative. I don't want to be too hard on a journalistic report that looks at a range of measures to improve/restore the performance of an older car. However, we also don't know whether the test conditions were controlled to ensure proper comparability - eg was the engine properly warmed up before and after,
They had some in Asda Plymouth yesterday

As said on the other recent Redex thread, why not use a good quality fuel instead that contains the higher cetane in the first place and has a complete package of additives that Redex alone does not provide? Using V-Power, paying with a cashback credit card and using the Drives Club card almost negates the extra cost of fuel. Really don't understand why people constantly uses poor quality supermarket fuels then endure problems with their fuel system necessitating the need to buy products like Redex.

I've only ever used supermarket fuels (unless I've HAD to buy the branded stuff) in around 25 years of driving, never had any engine problems. Apart from the odd oil change I've never done much servicing either, (never changed the spark plugs either!) I've used redex very occasionally, but not convinced it did anything anyway. Maybe certain cars suffer worse but always had Japanese motors...

Enjoy your frequent trips to the supermarket
I've used redex over the past 30 years,a shot maybe twice a year especially if going on a long run, can't say it's done anything spectacularly brilliant but certainly hasn't done any harm.I have four cars here(all petrol), two are 20 years plus the other two around 14....never had any injector/ fuel system problems with them.
