Is this one with full LTE support?

i'd be a bit wary of this deal the phone dimensions are wrong 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 should be 150 x 76 x 8.65 there are fakes about

I cannot recommend this seller - I ordered a phone from them on 8 Oct and have been fobbed off with a series of excuses for missed dispatch dates. Still no firm date for dispatch & I'll be cancelling soon if they don't get it sorted out.

Most UK 4G runs on band 20 (800Mhz), this doesn't support that

I'm guessing the dimensions bit is a copy/paste error of some description. I've had 2 phones from this seller before and both legit so nothing to worry about on that point.

LightInTheBox is listed on the New York Stock Exchange so in that regard they are a pretty legitimate organisation.

Can't trust these Chinese phones.

Cold, sorry...

I'll get my coat...

This seems to suggest that the only carrier you'll have real trouble with is O2? As 1800/2600 looksto be covered off.

i've got the global special edition, had some early rom issues with it but that seems to have settled down now. gotta say overall it is a very good phone, compares well against the wifes huawei mate s and is much better on battery life. i would say it'd be much easier getting a case for this one as mine is something like 2.5mm bigger and apparently none of the cases and screen protectors fit.

It appears to have a gyroscope and NFC which is unusual for these budget Chinese phones. On the other hand it's running Android 5.0 - anyone know if there's an official 6.0? As it's a Snapdragon version I would hope that there would be some custom ROMs about.

there is no NFC support i have one of these phones again this is pointing to a fake or there's a lot of mistakes in the specs

is this the kate or kenzo version? If it is the kenzo then it is missing the 800 Mhz band, if it is the kate then it has it but the support from Xiaomi to unlock it is very bad (i own it and still can't officially unlock it).

My recommendation: stay away from the kenzo version and wait a couple of months for the support to improve if it is the kate one.

Will just be a mistake in the spec on the page. The phones will be fine. There is a way to check authenticity once it arrives.

i ordered those last week, (probably reading the same forums) not arrived yet though.keeping my eyes peeled for a flip, smart sleep case.

Is the camera on these any good? If its up to my old Redmi Note 2 standard then thats fine. I know its 16MP vs13MP but I ask about the quality of the pictures and not the number of pixels.

Reviews state that the camera is good. My better half has the standard Redmi 3 and the camera is perfectly good enough for using to make photo canvasses for Xmas etc

GSMArena state the below

"Key test findings
-Build quality is top-notch, the metal body is neat and sturdy.
-The display is decent: it isn't among the brightest we've seen, but offers deep blacks, good viewing angles and contrast. The sunlight legibility however is only average.
-Battery life impressive with an endurance rating of 93h.
-Rich wireless and wired connectivity options.
-MIUI 8 is a clean and light Android Lollipop launcher but with rich customization options; we would've liked to see a more recent version of Android, though
-The Snapdragon 650 is very fast for the mid-range
-Video player supports every common video codec and AC3 sound but has no subtitle support.
-Audio quality is excellent with an external amplifier, but average with headphones plugged in.
-Camera photos are good, with average good detail and dynamic range.
-The 1080p video samples are decent"

in good light you wont have a problem. 2.0 aperture lens is nice enough for a phone, get some decent portrait shots etc. lower light it gets much slower blurry etc, but not unlike many other phones.

I am actually using this phone to comment in this forum, and I can tell you coming from a s6edge and an iPhone this is an eye opener, this is not a `chinese' phone this is THE largest selling phone in se Asia. The camera could be better but the battery and the usability is far better than the s6 edge and the iPhone, it's dual SIM or sim+SD you can have both but does involve a MacGyver.
I am waiting for the MI note 2 to be released (This Redmi Note 3 pro is apparently mid level phone!!!). Hopefully this helps someone, hot from me OP

just been searching reviews of this site and have come to the conclusion i would steer well clear of these here's a sample link /cnet.com/for…18/

I've got this phone. I've always had 'branded' phones so swapping to a Chinese phone was a first for me. I'm more than happy with it. Battery life is awesome, screen is nice and vibrant, it's very responsive and its the best 128 quid I've spent in a long time. It ticks all the boxes for me. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone

In the interests of balance these reviews are all older than 3 years ago and it would be fair to say that the customer service that you get from the Chinese retailers is a light year ahead of where it was even 12 months ago.

Back a couple of years ago I was forever having issues with sites like DealExtreme requiring back and forth but they have upped their game massively and clearly 'get' customer service a lot more now.

Your link did also feature this link where they are rated 9.14/10 and the ratings are up to date.

yes but he explains below that these type of sites can be manipulated i dont like these type of review sites trustpilot etc i prefer to search the consumer type forum sites here's another one link /consumeraffairs.com/onl…tml again pretty negative
I have no problem with Chinese phones i am currently on my fith i have had a Star s5, 2 thl models, huawie and this phone since February and no regrets at all its just when you see so many errors in the description specs you got to be weary of the seller i notice they have put the dimensions right (think they mite be following this thread) but still claims NFC and USB-type C both wrong

I am typing from the redmi note 3 pro international edition, 32gb which includes all UK 4g bands.
It came factory sealed and I absolutely love it so far. Battery lasting a full day with no problem is just the business. Especially love using my mi fit (£11), to unlock it. The camera is a bit average, but certainly not bad. I picked mine up for £128 on aliexpress just before the latest dip in the pound. Its money well spent. I am happy to use specs which were cutting edge 2 years ago for peanuts in comparison to top tier pixel, iphone or s7.

I am waiting for redmi note 4 in black/grey to come down or the redmi pro. Mainly as even though I liked my note 3 it was creaky in the hand due to plastic top/bottom. Maybe I had a badly put together one but it annoyed me. The note 4 is all metal so should be better.

You can get note 4 64gb for £158 currently.

I'm typing this on my RN3P, it is the best phone I ever owned. Previously had z3, s5 and few other cheap handsets prior. It's really wonderful phone, I bought it in my country from local reseller (cheap and honest one). I want to list the pros but there are too many IMO.

Redmi Note 4 64GB £174 delivered from France on eBay ebay.co.uk/itm…839?hash=item1a1aca08cf:g:200AAOSwOdpXyUuF - it's the China version, whatever that means

Really like mine running CM13. Will change to CM14 soon. I use about 25% battery in a day with bluetooth on. Data is fine on Three and EE without 800Mhz - never had a problem travelling the length of Britain with it.
