Had one of these and many other Xiaomi, great bang for your buck. The Snapdragon is always a winner in these due to the close connections that Xiaomi have with the company. Worth every penny
Heat from me.

Good, well written reviews also

I think so at this price. The Note 5 runs android pie and xiaomi's latest miui 11, and knowing xiaomi's record this is likely to get updates for a good while yet.
I've saw this reduced further everyday for the last couple weeks, great price, unsure why I didn't post it, but glad you did, heat added.
Gone down to £110.69. Spend the spare 15p wisely!
Writing this on my redmi note 5. Got it on an Argos deal a few months ago for £99. Love it, great value, the Mrs admires it while using her iPhone lol. Heat added

Yes, I've watched this going down, not sure I can see it going much lower than this though.

I'd say it will drop to £108 tonight, then shoot back up to £200. My prediction.

This used to be THE phone I'd recommend to all and sundrie when they'd tell me their budget, it was at the time the pinnacle of budget smartphones, still excellent today.

I then went on to recommend the note 7 and now the 8/8t, there are literally no other phones in the UK, that do budget like xiaomi

I wasn't sure whether to post as obviously you can get newer models imported from China for not a lot more but then you aren't getting the speed of delivery or warranty you are getting from Amazon (and no risk of customs fees). At the end of the day its still, as you say, a great phone so I thought I'd post and give people the option.

anyone know if this or the redmi note 8t will run fortnite mobile
Gone up to £118.06 so I'll expire and watch to see if it drops again.
Sound phone for the money, we own a couple.

I put Nova straight on them so can comment what stock launcher is like.
is this better than a samsung galaxy A10 ?
Running Lineage OS on mine for that stock experience! But after 16 months, I have a Mi Max 3 in front of me, a Mi A3 in the post and a Note 8T in my dreams. I predict I’ll have switched by Jan. Still love this phone though and would recommend to all

"Running Lineage OS on mine for that stock experience!".

I'm assuming you're not a fan of MUI then?, or ...

Either way, isn't either/both the Mi Max 3/Note 8 T on MUI too anyway? (or am I mistaken?), lol.

Out of interest though, what's Lineage OS (stock Android) on your Note 5 like?, thanx.

Gooood as the phone is, I doubt it'd be worth any £200? (if it for whatever reason, it suddenly decides to blow up to it), or whatever.

(But up to £150 on the other hand ... ) :-D

It's not that I don't like MIUI but I wanted a couple of features from Android 9 which weren't ported into MIUI 10 e.g. manual rotate via the button at the bottom of the screen. Turns out I didn't use them anyway!

Lineage doesn't feel quite as mature as MIUI but I do like the stock feel and there's no ads or bloat.

I'm going to sell the Max 3 as I need a better camera. Just not sure whether to replace it with the A3 or Redmi Note 8T.

There's some things I like about miui (like the fact you can schedule the power on / off for one) but I don't like the icons and home screen so I always put on nova launcher for a more 'stock' feel.

I've got an 8t on the way as I'm not keen on the in-screen fingerprint scanners and the A3 has one......also bit disappointed that the A3 screen has an amoled but only 720p.

The torch off feature by power button is useful in MIUI too as is the quick access to s reen brightness.

I've always used Nova Launcher on MIUI too and switch to rounded icons...I think it's a great launcher!

I forgot about the finger print scanner. If it's as bad as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro one then I'll definitely get the Note 8T.

I've not used the A3 but I have seen a few comments about the in-screen scanner not being the best. I think in general the in-screen one's are a generation or two behind the speed of the physical scanners.
I've got a brand new selaed note 5 from the argos deal, i'll take £105 delivered if anyone wants it. PM me if interested.

Good call! I noticed with the ebay code you could get it for not much more than via the more risky China route.
I've just read the 8t doesn't have a notification led despite the normal 8 and 8 pro having one. Gutted as I wouldn't have ordered if I'd known that!
