(ignoring for a sec that the 100MB/s is the read speed, not write). Most phones whose output I've seen will use around 30-40mbit/s to save 4K video, which in megabytes a second tops out at 4MB/s. An old class 10 card from 2012 will easily handle sequentially writing 4K video.

I don't see anyone here that said you need 100MB/s for 4K nor do I see anyone that said 100MB/s was the write speed????? It's 4K because it's a U3 card with a minimum write speed of 30MB/s as opposed to a U1 card which has a minimum write speed of 10MB/s which might have issues with recording 4K...

Wasn't it 16.99?
When I started video editing on Avid in 1992 storage was £1000 a gig! Now it's 25p. Mad...

Sadly not everyone is blessed with this knowledge.

10MB/s is 80mbit/s. 4K video bitrates are nowhere near that, usually less than half that. An old class 10 card guarantees at least double that write speed.

Not everyone uses these in phones. My camera requires a high performance card (bare min of sustained 30MB/s write) for 4k 100M.

Back to £18.76 now @MusicInMe guessing they ran out of stock and it was updated this morning to show more, I have added it to the OP that it is in stock now
Bought another. Code SAMMM10 takes 10% off the 19.75, making 17.78. Also works for the other Evos, but both 256GB and 128GB are OOS, with latter price bumped back up to 49.99.
