Is that because he wont buy you shoes
Can't be any worse than the maclaren quest with its dodgy wheels which wear down and fall off.
The prams cheaper than the changing bag!

Well, if you scroll down the page it has several other pushchairs (including the pebble version) there are 2 other JL leightweight strollers, which are almost identical but not the celia birtwell design (fabric) these are £70. Their reviews are bad too.

I took this approach, they're all similar in what's gone wrong too (front wheels jamming).

On the plus side, it's JL, so if there is an issue you're pretty safe in terms of taking it back...

Am tempted as my old one (which was off freecycle in the first place) is getting v long in the tooth...
good price
I've gone for it. Thank OP. let's hope it's better than the reviews!
poop, reviews seem bad
Can't comment on this particular one, but I ordered the travel system linked to below. It was awful, so rickety, felt like it would fall apart any minute. Looked at the Mamas and Papas in comparison yesterday and they were so much more solid.

johnlewis.com/231…spx

Needless to say it is going back to JL

I suppose for the money, with free delivery and free returns, it might be worth a punt.

You pays your money; you makes your chances.
It's £42 for a stroller - it probably is not going to make a great main stroller if you want something robust but it might be good as a spare/holiday one.
It's £42
only one review and it does say on the description that you can lock the front wheels, so I've taken a chance and bought one. Free delivery if you spend over £30 as well. Cheers
why stroller?!!!

what's up with pushchair?

Isn't stroller and American term and horrible sounding one at that?
Bought , thanks ........if its poo then ebay away lo.
i wouldn't risk 42 quid for a cheap quality pram which has one bad review
Just ordared a pushchair for £135. Good find thanks to danmckay.
Thanks, ordered and heat added!
Why the hell has this got to 543 degrees?!?!

It's a terrible stroller reduced to an average price. Have I missed something?! Does it come with free gold?!

Maybe you missed the fact that it's only 42 quid, which to those of us not lucky enough to be flush with an abundance of cash is a bargain. If you find a better deal maybe you could let us know.
well said bargainhunter8
its not a deal for everyone its just if you need a fairly cheap stroller or a backup

and the one bad review out of how many sold is wot u gotta think there is always a bad egg

If money is an issue buy second hand. You can pick up a buggy just like this for £5 from a carboot. Or are you not that short of cash....

And a quick look on the kiddicare website, I've found 2 buggies for less than £42.....

Also, did you really just create another account to defend the deal because I criticized it? And then reply to yourself?

Well said. Why people who have nothing positive or constructive to say bother posting is beyond me. Good price for those on a tight budget.

Got a quinny buzz but just wondering if this is handy for my mum. Just would like a small stroller than will easy collapse
Bargain - ordered!
Lol at all the ops multis being banned ITT.

This is cheap for 40, yes cheap. But it's crap.

Yes dirt cheap, but like everything, it's because they aren't selling. Go instore and see one. You'll know why.

I can't wait to see all the hukd'ers on holiday this year, half pushing, half carrying and dragging their pushchair. As the wheels are stuck and it's really rickety in the flesh. But it was cheap!!!!

Bought one thanks. if its crap its crap but this is only for light use so im not too bothered..
Thanks!! Bought 4..... Hubby not happy!
Decent reduction, however if there was one bad review and no good ones I wouldn't be buying it. Kiddicare always have pushchairs around that price - as do some of the ebay shops and argos. Yes it is more likely that people report bad reviews than good ones however when it comes to my children's comfort and safety I wouldn't risk it. I've bought a graco pushchair in the past from sainsburys for £50 and have paid up to £300 for a silver cross 3D so have had a variety so always plenty of variety about in lots of price ranges. I even have a £15 koochi from argos in the loft for hols etc. Atleast there is the back up of the john lewis guarantee, however I think that kiddicare and possibly amazon also have long guarantees on baby items now. I haven't voted either way.
LOL @ The 4 or 5 new accounts created by the OP to boost his deal.

Yes Ofc you did, 4. Inb4 the multi ban.

Was In John Lewis today with my daughter in the Maclaren! So thought I would check this deal out for a spare.
I thought the stroller was surprisingly good considering the reviews, it looks & feels good quality though it was heavier than the Maclaren & slightly harder to steer but for £42 its an absolute steal .

Saw it in Edinburgh John lewis for £70 the other day and was about to order. looked good quality. however, thinking of only occasional usage finally gave up. £42 is definately worthy of being used occasionally. just ordered one.
We'll i went into a branch and bought mine (just to try it out first), ordered it in Shadow, collected it took it home opened the box and it was bloody Pebble !!!

Anyway, not all bad news, turns out its actually the
John Lewis Lightweight Stroller with Footmuff, Sand which is the same thing but still £70 and comes with the £40 footmuff

I'd say the pram was worth £140 compared to similar crap at Mothercare and Mamas and Papas.
