Reduced Yankee Candles at Asda Direct selected Large jars £9

Found 4th Nov 2013
Been looking for some reasonably priced Yankee Candles with the winter months creeping in (makes it feel a bit cosier and smell nicer).

Not all scents are included but some of the medium jars (14.5oz) are down to £6 and large jars (22oz) down to £9.
You can select store collection to save on postage.

The Vanilla Frosting one is lush I bought it a few weeks ago from Asda for the full price and everyone comments on it when they come in.
They are pretty reasonably priced on Asda before reductions anyway in my opinion as the large jars usually range from £16.99 to £19.99

I thought they might go fast, I managed to get a large Vanilla and a medium Beach Teal (never had that before so hope it's nice)

You've only been a member for a few weeks, not posted any deals yet. There are a LOT of people using the site, it's not easy to grab a great bargain on here any more. Patience, grasshopper.

They are in store

Does anyone know why these Yankee candles are in differing shaped jars to the normal ones? Are they made here? Is the quality as good ?

They are just the same as Yankee candles from Clinton's etc. bargain and Devine

what am I missing the only one reduced is the vanilla frosting. All the others are the same price as they normally are on Asda direct £12.97. Simply home range is not as expensive as the classic jars.

Just to point out...these candles are great, but they aren't the same as "proper" Yankees in the traditional jars. I spoke to Yankee once who said that these Simply home jars are made with leftover fragranced wax. This wax is then taken and combined into new fragrances and sold as these simply home ones. Its not that they are bad, and do offer some nice smells but they aren't traditional Yankee scents like you might find in Yankee shops or Clintons etc. Simply Home are mainly stocked in Asda, Tesco and B&Q.

Let me just clarify...the person i spoke to was from a Yankee retailer, Yankee central, Not Yankee direct as i said above, so hopefully they were giving correct information. Certainly in my experience, the proper ones have better, stronger scents.

Not as nice smelling ass the classic jars. The pure radiance ones I have had where not that good either from TK Maxx

Ignore the ass

Good price but I don't think they are as good as normal Yankees. The throw isn't as good. But nice for the winter.
