Yuck, it's got a grip shift. Other than that, good price!

plus £6 delivery

The bike is for my son who will only use it for going to college which isn't too far so the bike will be fine I imagine. However, anything more than that and I don't think it would be adequate."

Its a good price with a nice £70 reduction! Nice find, nkg!
Have some heat
Seems a good price but am interested to hear if this is one of the so called BSOs that are likely to fall apart and end up costing more than a higher priced bike over a couple of years. Not voted either way thus far!
You might want to move it to the correct section, cycles are not GAMES
looks good but not avail in any store I can find. h+
its home delivery only (2 days) £5.95
Wonder if anyone has ever paid 'full' price for this stuff?

Looks like a deal but reviews suggest you may be disappointed. Is Reebok really reduced to putting their name on this kind of stuff?
Juat ordered one, but got the following: -
"Thanks for placing your order.
Unfortunately, we can't confirm your order at the moment but we'll send you an email shortly (this may take a couple of hours during busy periods).
There's no need to re-submit your order.
Thanks for shopping at argos.co.uk"
Hmmmmmm
Voted hot anyway...
get the bike and then buy some second hand ezfire shifters and new grips and ya sorted.. £110
Make sure you really do up the handel bars. Also check to see if thw wheel is truely alinged. Not sure if mine was, and i learned hard way. Apart from that not bad. Mind bit annoyed my plastic chain guard broke the other day.
You get what you pay for. Not a hot price for a junk bike.
Heat added, brilliant find OP, the bike looks great and it's a Reebok, WOW for the price

Sorry how do you know it is junk? Mate it isnt 3grand bike, so what do you expect. Its an alloy, and for that price alone, its good.

I purchased this bike last year, and it is fine. Ok, so i am no expert on bikes. Thou as im not 100% confident in my abilties, and the state of roads. Then why would you want to spend a shed load on them?

Too many people on here that want to spend more than they need too. All the same when a car deal comes on.

Buy one and you will soon understand. No one needs to spend 3 grand on a reasonable quality bicycle, but this price would not even pay for a good frame, let alone a complete bike.

Not really - a low price does not neccessarily a bargain make. This is not a pricing error or a discount, it's what the bike is worth.

It's a Reebok - yeah, they are world famous for manufacturing bicycles!

Maybe your new saying should be "You get what you pay for.*"

I think at some point when a random Asian bicycle manufacturer knocked on Reebok's door with the joint venture idea, someone at Reebok would be involved in quality control to protect the Reebok brand. Which hopefully should be at least better than buying a cheap unknown bike. Not much better might I add, personaly if someone wants to get into cycling on a tight budget to see if they enjoy it, then why not? Can't be any worse than the low end Apollo and Trax bikes that Halfrauds spew out.

For your information I have this bicycle. The frame is actually fine, and I have had no problems with it. Reeboks customer service needs allot to be desired about. I have heard bad things about this bike, then dont most people find it easy to complain about things. I admit I shouldnt have been drawn in by the colour, which was a factor when i purchase this sysle about a year ago. It was £115 I beleive, and that was half price.

So this bike was originally worth £230 and now a year later it is 'only' £79.99 - what a bargain...LOL!
Snom your trolling the wrong thread...This bike is worth about £130-160 because it has some low spec branded parts, so is better than a supermarket special. Note there is no gimmicky rear suspension and the frame is made from alloy hence the weight being a respectable 14.6kg
The RRP was a massive £359.99 according to when it was last posted on HUKD

The supermarket special I posted has Shimano gears, hardtail alloy frame and weighs 14kg all for £37. Both good deals, don't understand all the cold voters on this. It's like porsche owners voting a brand new Fiesta on offer for £4000 cold because their car has better components.

I voted that hot to, for the reasons you mention.

I'm getting to the point where I feel like stopping posting deals now and whenever I see a bargain, taking advantage of the situation and flogging on for a profit. Too many kids, fools and haters on this site.

Not trolling at all. This bike is worth what people will pay for it. The fact that the frame is made from alloy is irrellevant - this is the cheapest material to use and you can be sure that it is a low-grade alloy, as are all the components on the bike. it would be better if it had no front suspension as well - at least the cost savings could have been put into better components.
The biggest drawback with these cheap bikes is that a young person will get one and be put off cycling due to the poor experience.
Much better to purchase a higher quality used cycle which is more likely to have better components and give an altogether better experience.

I never said you wasnt, i was agreeing with you. Think you miss read me. There is nothink wrong with this bike, depsite having an accident on it. It was my fault for not doing the handel bars up, and the state of the roads.
