Just buy a pair of £50 running shoes and save £250! Now there's a deal!!!!

Or just run barefoot and save another £50.
Or don't go on this website and save paying for the internet.
wow... the options are endless!!!

Had a reebok treadmill for around 3 years and both myself and my wife have used it three times a week for those 3 years.
Never missed a beat, good deal if you are going to use it.

To all you naysayers, I have one of these and use it every day. We keep it in the front hall.Jackets hang very well from the handles and the belt is great for keeping mucky shoes off the carpet. :-P

How many people have i seen with these exercise machines end up never using them after first few uses

Well if you don't give up after a few runs, this is actually a semi decent piece of fitness equipment.

Sooooo... Don't keep us in suspense.. How many?..

Come on people, I know the OP has stolen the clothes hanger joke but the "waste of money, you can run outside" zinger is still up for grabs..

Voted hot.

I'll bite

Well you can run outside. Treadmills can be useful in extremely bad weather, for doing focussed interval work or recovering from injury. I have know one person to do all her marathon training on a treadmill. On the other hand Brett Sutton used to send his athletes into the basement to use a treadmill as punishment !

Buying one of these because you want to get fit but are too embarrassed to run outside is a complete waste of money.

The fitness and diet industry makes most of.its money out.of people trying to buy their way to fitness. Save your money, you most likely don't need this.

On the other hand this is a deals site and I have no idea if.its good value or not.

I bought the Z8 couple years back and only unpacked it last month lol

This is a massive deal if you are looking for a treadmill surely? I am tempted to get it for my wife but not sure she would use it.

No idea. What’s the answer

I think this is an absolute bargain for less than £350.

I bought the ZR8 at the end of 2013 for £399. Still use it 5 days a week (quick jog before work). The ZR8 is fine and this ZR9 is a slightly larger and more powerful unit. The ZR8 is very comparable to the ones in the gym (OK not quite the £2000 ones but it terms of basic size and function), unlike the sub £200 ones where you have to switch them off to adjust the gradient manually (which means you wont do it!), and they tend to have very a narrow track and poor build quality.

Only you will know if you are going to actually going to use it, but to me its a great price for a very good home treadmill.

You still need a decent pair of running shoes to run on a treadmill. They just don't need to be waterproof.

I also have had a Reebok treadmill for years. She is supreme and I love her.

To all you naysayers, I have one of these and use it every day. We keep it in the front hall.Jackets hang very well from the handles and the belt is great for keeping mucky shoes off the carpet. :-P

Out of stock

Get a rower instead. Kinder to your knees, works many more muscle groups and is more fun. If all you want is to be slim and reasonably conditioned a rower is the way to go.

How much do these things cost to run I wonder.

Reebok have good customer service but just be careful with ZR9’s. I have had multiple units fail due to weak electronics over the years, appears to be a design fault with the on board computers.

Machines we have had issues with. ZR9 cross trainerx2 both PSU’s blown, computer on 1 unit went down. ZR9 bike just 1 computer gone, ZR9 treadmill has had 1 computer replacement.

Note: ZR9 crosstrainer replacement computer no longer remebers setting so we have to set from kilometres to miles.

Hopefully they have fixed all these issues, just wanted to give everyone a heads up as I will be trying a new brand once these units have worn out.

got a similar treadmill for the missus, used it a few times...now its used mainly as a clothes horse..lol

I live right at the bottom of a valley and am certainly nowhere near fit enough to run up to the top where the nice running roads are. I can also watch something while I'm running on a treadmill in the comfort of my own home. It's like telling people going to the cinema is a waste of money when you can just wait and buy it on dvd.. totally different things.

Had a reebok running machine for 4 years and it was brilliant. I want one of these for running when weather is awful to allow training for longer runs to continue. Have tried other treadmills but Reebok seem to be more solid and have a wider 'running belt' so there is no need to change your natural running style/gait. Previous Reebok treadmill was also reasonably quiet. Worth a punt but might wait until nearer Xmas to see if it goes below the £300 mark.

"Buying one of these because you want to get fit but are too embarrassed to run outside is a complete waste of money"

There are tonnes of reasons why people would buy this. And yes maybe there would be people that would be too embarrassed to run outside but if they're taking the initiative to get fit with this, surely that's a good thing?
For me personally I wouldn't run outside because where I live I'd only have busy roads to run on and I've seen far too many videos of idiot drivers drifting off and killing people. I'm not taking that chance because I have a wife and 2 kids I have to think about.

Bought this at a similar price last year and it's a good bit of kit. I use it regularly and it's held up well. Its a solid bit of kit, especially for one that folds. You can change the incline while on it which many at this price can't. It does weigh a lot though. Despite it being on wheels it's a struggle to move so pick your spot where you'd like it and assemble it there, you won't want to move it far afterwards!

Ah, but you won't look as minted as having a treadmill in the hallway that's used just for hanging clothes

Before buying one of these look into how you maintain it. This might be enough to put you off.

no way, with weather like this..and annoying stares from people..I'd go for treadmill vs outdoor jogging any day..(if space isn't an issue).

Actually you will save £292.94

Anyone know of any companies that would price match this? It says none in stock at my local argos warehouse so can't order it (no suprise there though as they never have anything in stock)

This is a fab machine. I got it as being female and my only chance to run was after putting little one to bed at 7 pm. In winter it’s dark then and don’t feel safe running on my own. Fantastic quality machine for great price

what about if you want to go for a run but the only time you get is when the kids are in bed?

Just go running outside. Saved you £350. You're welcome.
