Reese's Giant Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar 192g - £1.99 in B&M Bargains

31
Found 3rd Oct 2014
These are new in, and I haven't seen them anywhere but online before.

They are selling at daft prices online :
Amazon £4.65
Candy Hero £3 + postage
Ebay from £5.99

It's more than I would usually spend on a chocolate bar, but it's a little gift for someone Reese's mad, and seems a great price in comparison to everywhere else.

They had other Reese's products too:
- Reese's Sticks 43g for 49p
- Reese's Pieces 43g for 49p
- Reese's Pieces 113g Box for £1
I can't remember the price of the Peanut Butter Cups, but I don't think they were a great price.

The Peanut Butter M&Ms Box (91g) was also £1.

Found in Rochdale branch.

It's worth trying the Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream while it's on offer (£2.24 @ Tesco), though I think it tastes a bit more like Snickers than Reese's.

All but the raspberry m&ms here.

My store has these too - they also have giant cups, white chocolate reeses cups and peanut butter m&m boxes for £1

£5 in American sweet shops

Looks like I'm paying B&M a visit tomorrow.

I have loads of Peanut butter cups x3 bars I can't get rid of. This time around I find them very sickly after one cup should they be so sweet?

I neeeeeeeeed this!

Mmmm... Reeses...

These are totally addictive - BEWARE!

never had this before -is it very tasty?

worst chocolate ever - so sweet one bite and your teeth will fall out

Contains GMO soya. Frankenstein food, I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

I'd never tried a Reese's Cup til a friend offered a pack a couple of months ago, and my mind was blown. And that Ben and Jerry's ice cream is even better... it's incredible!

This might sound crazy... but why not just have one cup then? That's what I do and just keep the other in the fridge for another time!

Ah GMOs, the modern day witchcraft. I don't think most people understand what GMO and GM means, they just assume the worst. You gave a good example referring it as Frankenstein food. One day GM could be practically everywhere in future.

Can this be eaten as part of a calorie controlled diet. Tried to find it in my Weightwatchers calorie book , but all it said was 'F off wise guy'.

It doesn't specify on the packet that they are, but I can't see anything in the ingredients that isn't suitable.
I'm vegetarian and I eat Reese's.

The ingredients are listed here:
candyhero.com/gia…92g

You can buy the reece's cups in the states and you get 2 in a pack that weigh 1lb each cup lol. Only in the states.

Count your calories and you can eat pretty much what you want. You'll always be hungry though if you have calorie dense stuff like this.

And totally rammed with GMO ingredients as they're made in the US where peanuts and in particular soy and corn (think corn syrup / glucose-fructose). Beware these and other things, for example Lucky Charms and other General Mills products you find in places like Tesco's 'world foods' aisles. Don't worry though, I'm sure there's nothing wrong with GMOs, it's not as if China just banned them. :-0

It's a real pity because I used to love the bars.

For some insane reason, my wife likes these. Reeses faeces would be a compliment, they are foul tasting cheap garbage food

YADDA YADDA YADDA.
One or two bars every now and again isn't going to kill anyone!!

Having eaten Reeses Pieces (eurgh, never again - M&M Peanut Butter wins hands down) I think I'll avoid the bar.
The peanut butter cups on the other hand....
