And condition it is in when you receive it. Tesco give no warranty for batteries! I'd add another £15 for a generic battery to the price. £265 for a P6100?

One of the most important aspects of a laptop is the screen resolution … One of the most important aspects of a laptop is the screen resolution since you'll be stuck with it...

I have never met a single person who when buying a laptop is interested in screen resolution. Serious.

What was the point of saying that. I could have told you that ages ago that there wasnt many of them. Well done, you seem so switched on.
Anyway if you look at the cpu bench marks kindly posted, you see there is a big differance bwtween the two. So I guess you haft to way up between battery life vs memory as well

now 4 vailable!
I mean every one keeps on saying 15, 14, 13. It aint a running count down
Its cheap, but cpu looks to be a bit lacky, with regards to rankings. The pentium is nearly 300 places rank higher.

This is an old (18mth+) lappy. The processor is pre-Sandybridge. The graphics chipset is way behind even Intel's latest integrated stuff, i.e, you cant realistically do any decent gaming on this, compared to the HD3000 and HD4000 which is Intel's more recent Ivybridge stuff and do a decent job for an integrated GPU.

Yes, the memory is nice, the res good, the drive big, but overall its pretty old and lacking - 2 usb, no hdmi out. Ouch.

I would pay £100 more and get something more modern, more flexible and more futureproof (and not second hand, with the possibility of a duffered battery!). FYI, this was available @ £339 brand new a year back: See here
