It's the best price you can find an in stock 1070 Ti for.

Personally I'd rather have an aftermarket one but if you're after a card at RRP then this is a great price. Website only allows one per basket, despite saying two.

It's not a deal as such, but it's better than pre-ordering one that might be dispatched in a months time for over RRP.

No idea on stock levels so be quick.

What are the chances of GPU prices dropping in the next couple of weeks after the cryptocurrency crash though? Maybe worth waiting.

I think it will. I would wait, it can’t really hurt
Maybe look at the used market as some miners will bail and try to minimise loses

A good question. Generally these crashes are just shuffles, and actually the reduction in value may make people change the coin they mine, making difficulty lower, making mining more viable... actually increasing the desire to own more cards. We can only hope they do go down
It doesn't work even with one...
OOS already... Mining ********...

People have been forecasting the cryptocurrency crash for the last year at least and it's never happened, if anything GPU prices are getting worse It's a shame as if it continues it will no doubt kill PC gaming, or at least make it the sole preserve of the super rich while the rest of us are forced into console peasantry...

On the plus side, at least the demand for performance increases will drive technology developments (while PC gaming being tied to console ports holds it back). Nvidia and AMD also have more money in the pot to help drive such developments. Those are the only good things about mining. I suspect mining specific technology may split from gaming hardware in the near future if the bubble does not burst for a while.

You really don't want a secound hand card that has been running 24/7 for the past 6 months.

This isn't likely as most miners are relying on residual value in their cards being driven by demand from gamers as their exit strategy.
