Thanks, went for this. Seems like an excellent price for this particular model. My experience of Argos refurbs has been good so far. Hopefully this won't buck that trend!
If it was a Chromebook it would pretty handy at that price.
The chrome book looks good for the money wouldn't touch the windows version
The n4000 is surprisingly ok but the 32GB emmc and 2GB RAM will make the experience a bit, um, tiresome.
BTW the Chromebook is the CB3-132, same as the one included with the pixel deal except it has a dual core celeron rather than a quad core atom.

Owned this Chromebook briefly and it was fine for most stuff. Has an IPS screen too.

I like these kinds of machines but sadly I agree. Even cheap netbooks have 4GB RAM now (even though 2GB you can make do) and 32GB with Windows 10 and updates is a no-go.
Don't even need the chrome book but tempted at this price

I find using Windows 10 on a £709 device torture.

This isn't a CB though from the description, Windows 10.

Cool, would have been better if they had posted 2 separate deals to avoid confusion.

You can never please them all majorwedgy84. Love the dodgy nickname BTW.
This was selling new for 99 about 2 years back at tesco. The sd card sticks out, cancelled my order
Received my Chromebook today. DOA. Won't charge or turn on.

Edit: Contacted both Argos E-Bay and their (3rd party) 'Tech Support'. Argos just want me to return and they'll refund (best option it seems). Their Tech Support offered a repair but frankly I've no faith in them given how (un)thorough they seem to have been with the machine I received. Pity, as it was in good nick otherwise. There was a vague offer of a "possible exchange if something roughly similar comes in" but they couldn't guarantee this or give me a timescale.
