Waiting for the 720p comments

Since when did almost every 32" TV become 720p. As little as 3 years ago, you could easily get a 1080p panel but most are 720p now. I know you probably can't tell from a normal viewing distance but it's odd.
i have this TV, you can notice the difference to a 1080p panel as the picture is not quite so sharp. good TV for the bedroom though.

I guess some cheapo LCD factory is selling these panels for peanuts and Vestel are buying them up by the truckload.

Ok for £100 but a bit poor resolution for a supposed 'brand' TV
The bottom end of the tv market is really poor value these days if this is all you can get. You can get a 4k 42 inch for 199, 50 inch 4k 299, I picked up a 32 inch 1440p 75hz gaming monitor recently for 120. No offence to the deal poster but id rather spend my money elsewhere.
