yes its ok , can add a sata ssd and another 4gb of memory for a good home PC
Nice deal. Especially with the warranty.
My usual question , can you Hackintosh this???
For the specs and the warranty, i would say it is a great price HOT
I bought the same for my son...rock solid build. Will prob put another 4gb of RAM for a little hike in performance.
I bought another Itzoo refurb which was delivered quickly and in good nick. They do provide good value

Odd question, especially as the best thing about a Mac is the build quality of the hardware, the worst thing about them is the OS.

You really are getting the worst of both worlds......

It's not an odd question really, but what is odd is that you need quite a bit of expertise to Hackintosh something so I expect someone who was looking to do this would know the answer already.

IT-ZOO is good and the HP machine is alright but I don't like the SFF models as they have too much proprietary hardware (like the PSU).
And back in stock...
What are the dimensions of this?

Any good to you? …Any good to you? https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/will-a-hp-prodesk-400-g1-work.220471/

Thanks for the help.

@op as well , thanks.

I have ordered one

Does anyone know of Mac/Hackintosh compatible external WiFi dongles.

Thank
How does this one compare? I was thinking of getting this and upgrading for £55 to the 240gb SSD. Primary use will be mostly to use for work from home - so connecting to a Citrix environment. Will it be able to handle two screens?

Ideally I was waiting for this to come back in stock but it's been a while so not sure if it ever will!

The OS is easily the best bit and I say this having earned my living with them for the last 30 years. When spending my own money I buy Wintel boxes though. You can't buy a secondhand Mac for anything like this price that will run anywhere near the latest MacOS.

Guys one more qouestion

The monitor that I would use only has 2x HDMI and one VGA. I have come across the following forum wher it suggests for Hackintosh VGA is not supported. The PC has only DVI and VGA output, do you know if DVI to HDMI adpator work?
Thanks for your help

Same. And it has the option for SSD upgrade directly with Itzoo, as well as 4gb extra RAM. Performance-wise it'll be much better for the extra £30 odd quid.

Here are some comparisons between the processors:

Sold out again anyway

DVI is the same signal as HDMI but just without audio, it's only the plugs/sockets that are different.

Everyone to their own I guess but I ditched Mac because of the OS found it dire, it was a hassle to do anything non standard and major compatability issues made me wave goodbye.

In 1988 I severely doubt you were earning a living using Macintosh Plus.....

I still have a Mac Book Pro that's only used for simple tasks and Internet browsing nowadays.

Windows and Linux is all I use nowadays.

Shows how little you know I started with a Mac II which was launched in 1987, a year before I began using them, and with the first version of Quark XPress.

Yep, exactly that. I used to do it from a Mac Mini that only had DVI into HDMI on the telly.

I'd actually agree with that to some extent, it's like all Apple products, if you want to do what exactly what they want you to do it's slicker than a slick thing, if you want to do anything else it's rubbish. Hence, I earn my living on a Mac with Adobe CC, all my other 'activities' are done in Windows.

Lol you are correct, it's way before my time, I was still in school back then.

Guys

You know your stuff. Can you advise a cheap graphic card that would output HDMI and can be stuck into this, obviously Hackintosh compatible

This way I could bump graphic and not have to worry about DVI businesses

Why would you want to? Been aware of hackintosh for a while and have a laptop that meets the specs - but why?
