Besides 4K upscaling and 4K photo playback, this high-performance model reproduces high-resolution audio sound. In addition, the player is equipped with Smart Network features. The DLNA function, for example, lets you use a smartphone or tablet to enjoy content that you saved on a PC or a recorder anywhere in the house.
If you think Blu-ray movies look good already, wait until you see how great they look after they’ve been upscaled to 4K resolution*. Powerful processing works out how to add millions of extra pixels more than you get in Blu-ray’s original Full HD pictures, giving you images filled with so much more sharpness, texture and detail that you feel like you’re at a digital cinema. * To enjoy 4K Upscaling you will also need a 4K/UHD TV.
With the 2016 Panasonic Blu-ray Disc™ Player you can easily play back 4K JPEG that you've created with your camera or camcorder. This lets you enjoy the memories of vacation trips in all their natural beauty, from magnificent landscapes to precious images of family and friends.
You can freely share content, such as photos, videos and music, with other connected devices throughout your home. Every member of the family can enjoy the content they want, in their own style, regardless of time and place.
You can access various content and services through the Internet and home networks. With Panasonic`s 2016 Blu-ray Players you can enjoy various contents, including movies, news, games, music and more.
The 2106 BD Players are compatible with a wide variety of formats, even up to high-resolution audio files from a wireless home network. Highly intricate tones, such as those of a studio master quality sound source, are faithfully reproduced with natural depth and true-to-life atmosphere.

Got one of these Ebay/Argos refurb for £34 last week......
I strongly doubt the 4k upscaling will improve on what any decent branded 4K TV can do...probably better to leave it outputting 1080p and let your TV deal with the scaling unless you have a really really cheap 4k TV
Stay away from Panasonic Blu-Ray players, they are awful..

Only they aren't are they. Consistently amongst the top rated … Only they aren't are they. Consistently amongst the top rated players four review sites from the first page of a google search for "Best BluRay players 2016"

Say what you like, I've owned 2. I think that they're useless. The -30 cold would suggest that I'm right.
