Ultimate 4K Experience with State-of-the-art Design
For More Accurate Colour and Smoother Gradation at Any Brightness - Studio Master Drive achieves smooth gradation and highly detailed black expression even in very dark scenes which were previously not possible on a LCD TV. It works by adjusting the image in extremely fine brightness steps, thus reproducing accurate colour expression at any brightness level. Frames are detected before and after the present frame, and a new intermediate frame is created. Optimal backlight blinking also helps to reproduce smooth images with minimal blurring.
The wide colour gamut is able to reproduce colours accurately and faithfully. - A newly evolved, high-colour-space LED backlight achieves a wider colour gamut to produce more accurate colours. The result gives images a truly vibrant, lifelike appearance.
Detailed, Crisp Images from Any Source - Panasonic’s original high-performance image-processing engine immacurately renders highly intricate and detailed 4K images. In addition, it achieves beautifully elegant 4k quality with precise noise reduction and motion image compensation from a variety of sources such as broadcasts, web content and others.
Richer and More Brilliant Colour Even in Bright Scenes - Combining the direct LED backlight with a highly transparent LCD panel produces outstanding brightness. Furthermore, Panasonic original technology delivers far more vibrant images by digitally recovering the original brightness which is compressed during shooting. As a result richer and brighter colour nuances are produced.
Sports and Action Scenes Are Clearly Reproduced - Frames are detected before and after the present frame, and a new intermediate frame is created. Optimal backlight blinking also helps to reproduce smooth images with minimal blurring.

refurb by Panasonic themselves. Only supplied 12 mths warranty. beware that you don't get same consumer rights that you get with a brand new one. (refurbished units not covered under Consumer rights act 2015)so if anything goes wrong after 12 mths you may have no comeback
Refurb, ebay, i'd expect sth like £399.
I've been eyeing this deal up now for weeks, still haven't bit the bullet. TV has great reviews though, just unsure about purchasing a refurb unit and a non HDR set. Trying to hold on for the Sky 4K & PS4K announcements but well, boys and their toys eh!

Yes 12 months worried me too but I went for it today. Was looking at HDR but none of the sets are anywhere near this price. (apart from the hisense and that only has 60 hz refresh... blurring and ghosting...)

I know someone who has the 40 and they said its really good.

There's only 4 left at the moment (was 7 when I purchased it earlier today and posted this)

Looks like they have sold out.

Mine turned up yesterday, only using it out of the box with no settings tweaked and it's already so much better than the LG and Samsung HD TV's we currently have. Delivery was great, they contact you and ask if the day is ok and then they give you a 3 hour time slot, they then phone you 15-30 minutes before on the day of delivery. Two guys unloaded it and brought it into the hallway, they make sure its the correct TV and they open the box, take the TV out to make sure it's not damaged before they leave.

So happy with the TV, watched a couple of youtube 4k videos and its stunning! Played on the xbox quickly and star wars battlefront looks so real. Sky HD seems to look better on this than the previous TV and then the we watched Gotham through plex on the amazon fire tv and that was stunning.

I can see the out of the box settings need a slight tweak but that's just picky me, I am blown away at how good it looks out of the box. The speakers are pants as is to be expected, sound bar or av receiver set up's a must.
The 55 inch is now £449 ! the 55 inch 700b is £499
I bought the 50 inch 700b for £382 yesterday, had a 15% code that had to be used yesterday.
