Acer Predator Helios 300 15.6" Gaming Laptop Intel Core i5-8300, 1050Ti, 8GBRAM , 1TB+128GB 144Hz monitor for £539 delivered using code PRICECUT15.

I've been looking for a more budget gaming laptop for leaving at work.
I thought this seemed like a good deal especially with 144Hz monitor, 1050Ti graphics card, SSD and 1TB drive.

Warranty: 6 months.

What settings would you have to run to achieve 144fps on a 1050Ti?

To be fair, I'm unsure.
My main search was to find a better card than the 1050 in the same price bracket and a better screen than most others priced around the £500-£600 bracket.

It's made for esports. LoL, CSGO etc. will have no problem.

Thanks for confirming.
As said you will never get 144fps on this card so the refresh rate is a bit of a bs marketing point, unless you are playing something like csgo, where this should comfortably get 144hz / fps
Good price given you normally get the regular 1050 at this price. Got the other decent specs to back it up like the Intel quad-core CPU and an SSD. Impressive.
Specification and description says integrated graphics though :/

The special features show as dedicated 1050ti. I don't think there is a predator laptop with an integrated graphics only.

Never get 144fps with this card then lists a game that comfortably gets 144fps lol??? Sure triple A's won't manage it but indie games will look slick on this machine
Damn, fell asleep before I completed the purchase. Hot price for what you get
Why would anyone 'need' (or even notice) more than 60fps to play a game unless you were pro gaming? I remember happily playing racing games on my pentium 90 at 20-25fps, it wasn't 'unplayable' or anything.

Pretty good deal though as the 1050 ti seems to be able to play most current stuff on decent settings with decent frame rates.

They probably don't. It seems to be the 'in thing' now and getting as high a fps as possible at lower settings.
The screen gets good reviews on this model which was what caught my attention and along with the 1050Ti. This laptop is still priced at £949 at PC World/Currys.

It's mostly for FPS shooters where it gives you an edge having faster refresh rates, so basically most eSports titles. Your Pentium 90 game wasn't online or needing critically fast response times I bet.
I missed it again!!!

I cancelled my order this morning to put the money into a new desktop build instead. My 2500K needs a spruce up.
