Not bad brand new is £999

But this is 2011, 3 generations old.

This isn't worth it if it's 2011/2012

By comparing it to the price that used ones sell for and factor in that this has a 12 month warranty and VAT is included in the price then these are priced so that they will sell. Not a super bargain but they will find a home.

You can get the latest version of Macbook Air from the Apple Refurb Store (£20 more but 3 years newer): store.apple.com/uk/…/13. I got one of these a few months back and it's as good as new.

Specs are wrong - if it is 2011 release year then it is 2nd gen Core i5 not 3rd as advertised.

Can I ask what you got....nothing currently at the 720 price point....but keen to know wether it is worth keeping a close eye on that page for new stock.

Ah, check back in the morning. They always seem to put the site down (or rather have zero stock of anything) at night, so maybe that's when the do the inventory check or something. There were MacBook Air 13" for £719 earlier on, when I made my last post.

£799 for the MacBook Air 13 inch on Apple refurb, and that's with only a 128GB SSD, compared to this deal which is 256GB.
Unlikely to see a 13 inch with 256GB refurb on Apple for £720 in the near future.
£720 is more likely the price for a 11 inch refurb with 128GB SSD.

store.apple.com/uk/…-i5 admittedly it's got the 128gb SSD but still a good price.

Yes, 256GB SSD version goes up to £849, seems a lot of extra money for a bit of disk space.

True. I'm sure I've seen the 256gb at around £799. Obviously depends on what you want it for. I just went for the 128gb option as I don't cary a huge amount of stuff on that Mac, and if I do then I generally have an external HD anyway.

Same price new in some places
