REFURBISHED - GOOD. 12 Months Warranty and 14 day returns policy if unhappy on arrival.

The inside story. And the outside story, too.

With its durable unibody enclosure, LED-backlit display, and Multi-Touch trackpad, MacBook Pro looks beautiful. And works beautifully.

Strength. Lightness. Beauty. Seamlessly integrated.
MacBook Pro is machined from a single piece of aluminum, an engineering breakthrough that replaced many parts with just one. It's called the unibody. And the first time you pick up a MacBook Pro you'll notice the difference it makes. The entire enclosure is thinner and lighter than other notebooks. It looks polished and refined. And it feels strong and durable - perfect for life inside (and outside) your briefcase or backpack.

You'd be surprised how popular this model is as you can upgrade the memory and it has a CD/DVD drive.

Not really that portable though.....

Although launched in 2012, the model was still sold for £899 up until a few months ago.

Yes. This model uses a standard 2.5" drive . Wouldn't be my mbp of choice but actually despite all the negative comments as used Mac pricing goes it's not a bad price really

I've got one of these and the only 2 downsides are the screen resolution and the GPU. I've added 16GB RAM and a 512 SSD. You can even swap out the CD drive and have a RAID SSD at about 1200 MB/s. I haven't bothered as quite like still having a CD drive. Benchmark wise you'd be surprised. I've been running geekbench a lot and unless you go quad core the score on this is nearly the same as most skylake processors I own (no kabylake to test). Yes you can buy a more speced up system but it won't have this build quality.
