I've been looking at these for a while tonight. What brand are they??

The ones with 256/120GB SSDs sold out a few days ago, sadly. The new silver ones listed today are only 4GB RAM with HDD instead of SSD, but do have WiFi built in. After specs, price variation is largely based on physical condition. Good enough for young teenagers with no interest in gaming to do homework on, or elderly emailer/surfers.
cheaper with code FORNEWCUSTOMER
I hate the fact that they look like imacs..

2 SSDs in this one!
Yes, I saw that one. One for the OS and the other for programs/files. But not so cheap.
Seems too good...what's the catch ?? Unknown manufacturer

I bought one of these a couple of months ago ,using it now.

No branding, even the BIOS is empty for manufacturer details.

Very happy with mine. Only minor disappointment is that it is a bit noisier than I would expect for an AIO that sits on the desk. Doesn't bother me though.

Easy enough to get WiFi through USB adapter. Depending on how near router/strong signal is and throughput requirement even one of these might do.

Can't see any reason why not, those CPU's are supported but difficulty may vary between the mobile and non mobile processors.

It’s Sandy Bridge which is plenty fine. What’s the problem here? Did you expect 8th gen 6-core for £129?

Definitely not I wasn't sure that's why I posed the question. I am no longer a gamer so not expecting such, just interested in using the kind collective helpful nature of fellow hukders

Well, processor IPC hasn't really gone up a lot since 2010 so this will probably be just fine. I have friends who are gamers using Sandy Bridge CPUs still. In real world (not synthetic), these are honestly fine, and a bargain at £129.

The Intel 6 Series /C200 have no native USB3 drivers. I have tried removing, uninstalling, updating in the Device Manager hoping Windows will recognise a third party one and update it. The USB3 L shaped board with 2 blue ports (bottom right) is unbranded so I have no idea what make it is. Other than that though, it is good piece of kit.33475798-Be5Jd.jpg
Thanks for taking time in replying. So do the usb ports support usb 2 speeds?

Thanks for the reply, do you know if you could do basic tasks fine on this PC. Such as net, word processing, move files from SLR and basic editing.

Also if you have any idea if it could be Hackintosh ed?

Yes, basic tasks no problem - even Intel Atom/Celerons are fine (don't listen to the vast majority of people who claim if you 'open one tab in Chrome it'll catch fire'). It depends what your editing entails. An SSD would be a nice addition later.

You can probably Hackintosh it but it's not an exact science and if you really want Mac OS, you might as well look for an older iMac or Mac Mini for the minimum fuss.

Yes, though I only find out when I had a couple of large backup transfer >TB. What would have taken most of the day on a previous USB3 enabled PC I had to split over 2 days with this one. This is how it looks in the Device Manager.

If anyone has no problem with USB3 on theirs, I'll appreciate if they'll let me know what third party drivers are installed.

That's useful, being frugal and kind of person who tries to tinker on budget I wanted to know if this would work.. not sure.

That's fair enough. I mean I would not want to say it will or won't work for Mac OS/Hackintosh.

But judging by what you say, if you are more budget restricted than time (I mean that politely, as some people will be somewhere in the middle and others will just walk into an Apple Store and walk out without a second thought to cost), then you will probably have the patience to get it to work. I daresay if you couldn't get it to work, they might take it back anyway, not sure on their returns policy.

that was the first driver I've tried. It comes up with a warning about USB3 controller not being found.

So either they painted the ports blue to look like USB3 or like most other parts in this machine (FORSEE SSD anyone?) the driver is rather obscure and can only be found on foreign websites. Appreciate your response though.
Does the order come with keyoboard and mouse?
Are these wall mountable or do you have to use the stand?
