Before anyone gets into this though, they should look up the reviews of laptopsdirect on trustpilot and whatever other review sites are out there. These guys are notoriously incapable of handling refurbs, returns, refunds etc.

I would suggest that if you have a faulty unit (and you've got to consider why the unit you're buying has been returned in the first place) you are in for a long, slow battle.

Acer + Laptopsdirect means low durability plus bad customer service. Hard pass!
