Nice, can you go wrong at this price?

I'm one of the few who prefers a Windows laptop with a 1366 x 768 screen as it means the whole GUI renders at 100%. On a 1080p screen, some things look awful. Hot from me.
NO DEAL

I will join your club...I've just got a new Full HD laptop and didn't like it until I changed the display settings to make it look like my old 1366x768 screen, I mainly read text on mine and found the deafault Full HD awful.
Spend under £80 on this and get an additional 4GB RAM and change HDD to an SSD and it will be a nice everyday laptop for the outlay.

Some people want the moon on a stick

It's a half decent laptop for £126 for crying out loud.

Of course not, but most people do not know that Facebook mine their personal data for commercial purposes. Cambridge Analytica barely scratched the surface. Once it is out there, it is out there.

There you go Just bear in mind you asked the question, "can you go wrong at this price point?", i was simply pointing out that you would effectively be buying a desktop that you put on your lap, as it would always be plugged into a power adapter, and the screen would have you using that trackpad to do a lot of scrolling around webpages.

All true, but it doesn't explain why anybody should feel guilty about not doing a commercial website's work for it, for free.
You will need that 1 year warranty being an acer. Get them vents hoovered as they fill with dust quickly.
Does this come with windows 10? If not is it upgradable to it?
Great price for what you get. Good post OP.

Tell me about it bawbagus. It's funny who Android and Chrome OS, have no issues with GUI scaling on different displays; it always looks good. Why can't Micro$oft do the same?

Thats actually a very good point that I've never paid any attention to before, I've had many different Android phones with different screen sizes, types, makes and resolutions and they all look very similar....laptops different story.
Dishonest company, the guarantee is worthless. Avoid them
Received mine today, really impressed considering it was just over £120.

Same with me, got mine today. Very impressed!
Just noticed they offer an SSD upgrade for £55. Didnt offer that when i got mine.
How do you apply the discount code please
You can't on this one now as it's sold out. There is one in the bargains section but it has a screen scratch.
Once on the checkout page, there is usually a box appears on the right hand side for you put a code in.
Unfortunately you can't put any codes in if you buy anything from the bargain section.

There were a few light scratches on the top but the screen is in decent condition.

It boots up and shuts down very quickly (although I'm unfairly comparing it to a 12 year old Toshiba laptop). The track pad can be slightly awkward to use but I'd read about that in some reviews. I haven't loaded it with all my usual programs yet, so I've yet to find out how it performs under pressure.

I did opt for the 240GB SSD upgrade.
